PHOENIX, AZ –-(Ammoland.com)- The family of a charming young teenage boy had pictures of their adorable young child circulated by the “news” media after he was brutally shot to death by a ruthless wannabe vigilante.

Then it came out that the teenager was actually a 6-foot-two-inch football player with a history of violence and gang connections who had pounded the block-watch captain’s head into the pavement until he was bleeding and nearly unconscious.

The survivor, on trial for his life, caught a tough break from a circuit-court judge in pre-trial motions the other day.

It turns out that prosecutors seeking to convict George Zimmerman for (the merciless cold-hearted vigilante murder of poor little Trayvon) (defending himself against the brutal life-threatening assault by Trayvon Martin) (you pick), will be able to suppress all evidence showing the attacker’s controversial school records, previous drug use, history of prior fights, ownership of removable gold-tooth caps, or any text messages and photos found on Martin’s cell phone, which defense attorney Mark O’Mara has seen. A delay in the proceedings was also denied. Trial is set for June 10 2013.

If you think the nation’s diligent media turned the Jody Arias thing into a circus, you ain’t seen nothin’.

Anyone armed who is concerned about a fair trial should keep this in mind, and read After You Shoot: Your gun’s hot, the perp’s not, now what? It’s always better to avoid a gunfight than to win one.

Zimmerman, who is living in hiding, and will likely have to continue doing so if he wins the case, has gained more than 100 pounds since the incident in February 2012.

For good measure, the judge decided witnesses will be banned from saying if they think the trial is politically motivated. You may recall the initial police investigation found this to be a clear case of self defense, with no grounds for a trial.

Then Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton got on TV, and a Florida prosecutor who usually has nothing to do with such activity took up the case amidst a non-stop firestorm of political commentary that blacked out all other news coverage for days. Worse than the Arias thing.

One more criminal off the streets!

Xmystic

@Ter ber Trayvon was not simply walking and minding his own business. He was trespassing in a gated community at night time when the community was closed for the night. He could have went around but he chose to trespass. A lot of communities have neighborhood watches. As far as the police saying stay in your car, they ALWAYS say that. In the meantime Trayvon was out of sight and the police were still minutes away. Zimmerman “watched” the community and any suspect within. Hence neighborhood watch! He did not race to attack Trayvon, he only observed. Trayvon was the… Read more »

What infuriates me about this trial is that 1) they have tired their best to conceal the background of Martin to not show his criminal background and 2) refer to this trial as to Zimmerman murdering Martin. George Zimmerman acted in self defense. That is not murder. They could call it the investigation of the shooting death of Martin instead. The media tries to portray George as the aggressor, not the victim. Martin started the fight by double backing on the man that was reporting him as a possible suspect for being up to “no good”. Trayvon threw a sucker… Read more »

Jackass zimmerman was clearly wrong when he instigated a confrontation after being told by the police not to get out of his car and he chose to approach martin, who more than likely would have continued on his way without incident and 99.9999999% of the population would never have heard of either one of them!

Your walking along the sidewalk to your cousins house with your snack and beverage in your hand. Suddenly you notice a car has been following you slowly. OMG could be a gang member from across town? Could it be a serial killer ? He is stalking you !!!! You think quickly that this is not going to turn out well for you…..you are unarmed! But when he gets out of the car and starts asking weird questions…your heart is pumping. Your response is to FIGHT FOR YOU LIFE, before he grabs you……….

Paul

I’d hate to be on this jury. Their hands are tied as much as Zimmerman’s. If they find him not guilty they’ll have to live in fear and the city will burn to the ground. The press will make sure everyone knows their names.

For me it would have been a case a clear self-defence for Trevon, in the case he has lived. But to be followed/stalked and have someone scaring the crap out of you as your trying to walk to a family member’s house carrying your snacks. It would have been terrifing experience. He fought as best he could. He didn’t know if this maniac would sexually try to assalt or kidnapp him. Even a 50year may have tried to defend his life. Have a heart people.

Matt will you be testifying as a witness, you sound like you were there the way you say he should have followed the 911to instructions……. Well after so many failed attempts for law enforcement to show up in time to apprehended the neighborhood had thugs. Who wouldn’t have tailed the suspect, I know I would have to ensure law enforcement apprehended them once and for all……

Jackie

The race card has beent tossed around so freely, now days it’s a joke at best when someone uses it….. Just because you don’t have the same opinion of a black person does not make you a racist…… You have the elite black people throwing out the race card, you don’t see them addressing the black youth and their gang violence ……. But they are all high and mighty when that violent behavior gets him shot they come out of the wood work yelling racism…… Well there’s racism that runs thick in this country and it resides in the black communities… Read more »

When he is acquitted America will be under under Marshall law. Every big city will see rioting.

Buck

Zimmerman is going to be railroaded , the establishment will go all out to convict this man for murder when the whole world knows he was defending his own life from a dangerous street thug .

Jamie

Regardless he will get a trial. He will get to tell his side of the story. He can explain why he ignored the sage advice to leave it to the police. He can explain why he put himself in the position he is in now.

smitch

If Travon would have done that to me here in Arizona it would have been two shots center mass and one to the head! Look at George’s face! When some thug no matter what age or lawless back ground is trying to hurt or kill another person…it’s lights out for the thug!NO MATTER WHAT MEANS OF FORCE! Poor Travon just happen to die from lead poisoning.

Matt

He’s not “on trial for his life.” He pursued Martin in defiance of police instructions to stay in his truck. He started a fight with Martin and, when he began to lose the fight, he pulled a gun. Martin pleaded for his life and Zimmerman shot him anyway. Zimmerman is a model of responsible gun ownership like John Wayne Gacy is a model of responsible child supervision.

Can we shout:”JURY NULLIFICATION”? Jurors: Just say “NO” or “HELL NO!”.
