1860 Colt Army Heirloom Heirloom Revolvers with Hand-Crafted Tiffany Grips Available in Goldin Auction Through Nov. 14

Lot #1327: – 1860 Colt Army Heirloom Edition Black Powder Revolvers with Tiffany Grips (Pair) – Aside from the hand-crafted Tiffany Grips, this revolver also features deluxe 24-kt gold and silver plating that includes a cylinder, hammer, trigger, loading lever and plunger plated in 24-kt gold. The Tiffany-Style grips were designed by German-American engraver Louis Daniel Nimschke, who was a master firearms engraver of the 19th century and did work notably for Theodore Roosevelt and George Armstrong Custer. The frame, barrel, trigger guard strap, barrel wedge, screws and Tiffany-Style grip are plated in pure silver. Only 37 of these limited edition “Heirloom” revolvers have been manufactured and the gun has never been fired and the hammer not been pulled back. The serial number is “3” which is the lowest number ever offered for sale.
