Do you carry the shot shell for the 38 special and are they available now?

JS

I carry the “Judge” stainless with 2.5″ barrel down here in south Louisiana.
#4 OR #6 works great for snakes in the yard or in the woods.
000 buck or 45 LC works for 2 legged snakes anywhere else.

Gene Ralno

A general unavailability of this ammo makes a used Taurus Judge more attractive at about $200. An various finishes are available new for $400 – $500.

.45acp? Would work great In my 625 for field carry checking on the horses and cattle on the range

Demscray

I know this is urinating into the wind, but a 41 Mag load sure would be nice.

Thom Paine

I’m with you on the .41 mag . See above . 🙂

That’s great, but we have not been able to get the regular cci shotshell loads in our area for a year or more. No one has them in the stores or on line. I live in western oregon.I called cci once they just said they are trying and behind on everything. Tell them to get the snake loads back out first.

Chris Roland

I used to buy the shotshell capsules made by Speer and load my own .44 magnum shells.

CountryBoy

The problem with CCI Shot shells is that you CANNOT find them anywhere….

Thom Paine

@CountryBoy Too much money too . Gas check lightly crimped in works great for revolvers as would a under and over wad . And pick whatever shot size you wish . The CCI shotshell loads are around $1.40 each , When you can find them. No rattlesnake is worth that if you ask me when I can do it for less than half that.

Thom Paine

The same green florists foam ,known as Oasis thats used in blanks would work great for wads I’m thinking . A drop or 2 of clear nail polish etc . On the top to seal it.

Matt in Oklahoma

This will be nice in snake country
