Westfield, NJ -(AmmoLand.com)- Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) released the following statement after Linden, N.J. police arrested 28-year-old Ahmad Khan Rahami in connection with explosions in New York City and New Jersey:

“I praise the work of law enforcement who rushed to the scenes, the first responders who assisted those injured and the brave Linden police officers who engaged and apprehended the suspect at great risk to themselves. These terror attacks hit especially close to home and remind us that we must be ever vigilant and give law enforcement all the tools and support they need to protect our homeland.”

I have a hard time figuring out how tennerite could have been used in a pressure cooker pot as a bomb. What, did they set the pot full of Tannerite then back off 25 yards and fire a high velocity rifle round at it? That does not seem to fit the narratives I’ve read…. it was more like the bombs deployed in the Boston Marathon bombing, alledgedly by the Tsarnaev Brothers (but the video I’ve seen proves otherwise for at least one of them, and raises questions on the other). To be “ever vigilant” would mean to deport all muslims…. otherwise it really means nothing.

I agree they did a great job and this time we have the guy before he committed suicide so we can interrogate him rather then adding another notch in the suicide by cop file.
