Wilson CombatUSA -(Ammoland.com)- Mandy Bachman traveled to Elkhart, Iowa to defend her High Lady title at the Iowa State IDPA Championship.

Mandy used her full sized Wilson Combat CQB Elite chambered in 9mm to shoot in the Enhanced Service Pistol division. She finished the match as High Lady, 3rd ESP Master, and 8th overall.

“This was a really tough match. A large majority of the match had awkward shooting positions, non-threats, and lots of hard cover. This made accuracy very important. To top off the difficulty of the match, it was also a hot and humid weekend. Staying hydrated and cool was key to having a successful match.”

“I started the match off with a pretty rough first stage,” she said. “I didn’t perform on it like I wanted to. I used that stage to help me focus on what I needed to do in order to achieve my goals for the match.” Mandy said.
