About Savage Arms:
Headquartered in Westfield, Massachusetts for more than 100 years, Savage Arms is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of hunting, competition and self-defense centerfire and rimfire rifles, and shotguns. Their firearms are best known for accuracy and value. The entrepreneurial spirit that originally defined the company is still evident in its ongoing focus on continuous innovations, craftsmanship, quality and service.
Will this take standard AR-10 magazines?
Savage always makes great guns for a great price. Not a status seeker brand, but quite good for the money.
Savage, bring this rifle out in 257 Roberts, 338 Federal, 358 Win., and 375-308.
You’d have to cut the bolt a couple mm down on some and widen the ejection port on the upper plus the feed ramp issues that would occur because of the types of rounds you’ve listed.
But Savage does make some of those designated rifles like the 338 but not fed and not in an AR10 configuration but, Savage is working on new products and maybe an edc to follow Mossberg.
Here’s hoping
MSR10 Hunter is available in 338 Fed already.
