USA – -(AmmoLand.com)- What follows is a letter from National Rifle Association Board of director, Sean Maloney, to NRA President Carolyn D. Meadows questioning the logic behind failing to reappoint Mr Maloney who is one of NRA’s top grassroots activists from of all things the, NRA-ILA Grassroots Committee!
In recent weeks we have heard that multiple NRA Board members that had the gall to question Wayne LaPierre’s leadership have been removed or not reappointed to their previous committees.
All in what seems to be retribution for daring to question the leadership and employees over, lavish spending and financial unaccountability. AmmoLand News predicts that the same board members will not get the approval from the NRA Board Nomination Committee when it comes time to for them to run for re-election as their terms expire. Forcing them to run by petition or drop out. All in an effort to remove any board member that dares to question the board’s own employee, Wayne LaPierre.
God help us if the NRA-Board does not grow a pair and step in to save our NRA.

The real wealth in an activist organization are its volunteers who labor without pay, compensation or reimbursement for its goals and purposes. Just 1 up front, top tier advocate for a non-profit cause is worth a thousand, 10 thousand or 100 thousand members who spend all their time bitching and jumping up and down on their thumbs. Those who labor are the proverbial few who accomplish the objectives and real work of a society. @wjd, we could pick from the membership. Lots of dedicated honest people are willing to serve. How about the mega-donors? They won’t steal from the NRA because they are giving the big contributions in the first place.

For a “non-profit”, salaries and personal expense accounts among top NRA executives are OUTRAGEOUS.

While I am no fan of Cox, all your statements are just so wrong. You l clearly have no idea the extent of the problems at the NRA, as long Josh Powell is corrupting Wanye and Brewer is bilking the NRA out of millions a month we are doomed. If you really are a benefactor member you should do your research and talk with people like David Dell’ Aquila.

I have been an NRA member for many years because of the other side wanting to take our 2nd Amendment Rights away and as individuals,we can not do much. However, I think the NRA’s time has expired and we the people need another large association of like minded citizens to help us keep those rights. I think that the NAGR may be the way, but only if we each join to get the numbers of members to a high that can not be ignored.

This is all thanks to Mr. Wayne LaPierre’s mismanagement of the organization and sounds as if some of what the problem is,is attributable to La Pee Pee’s days as a Demo Crat lobbyist reminds me of what occurs under the current speakers type of leadershiup,more wine anyone.

This is what the NRA has degenerated to. Expect donations to drop off to nearly nothing, and members to flee in droves. From now on, the NRA will be hereafter known as “The Wayne LaPierre Fudd & Gun Club”.
