U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- On September 21, 2019, Robyn Sandoval was honored with the 2019 Defender of Liberty award from the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF). Sandoval was one of several award recipients recognized during the 34th Annual Gun Rights Policy Conference (GRPC).
Alan Gottlieb, President of the Second Amendment Foundation, began the award segment by saying that it is his favorite part of GRPC. He recognized the recipients by saying that they “have done an awful lot of work… defending Second Amendment rights.” Gottlieb continued, “I want to thank all of you for your excellent efforts this year… in defense of our liberty. Thank you very much.”
Sandoval later addressed the crowd, which included more than 1,000 attendees in person and more than 3,000 viewers participating in the live stream online. She discussed how gun rights are women’s rights, and the concern that women’s, and particularly moms’ voices, are marginalized in the legacy media. Sandoval said, “When I speak with members of Congress I tell them that the moms that demand to disarm us do not speak for moms like me.”

Congratulations on standing up for what you believe in. The opposing “moms” are just paid shills and their main reason is just a paycheck.
Good for Robyn! Society assumes that when there is no opposition, who ever raises their voice the loudest must be speaking for everyone. This cannot be further from the truth. The left has also been very successful using tactics such as shutting down contrary views and demonizing those who oppose them. Balanced dialogue is essential for a free people to exist or face the elimination of one’s liberty by proxy. @Mike J, The socialists can not prevent people talking to their children and grandchildren. Grandparents are in a unique position to teach children what is what in the world, and impact the destiny of our nation.
I agree, we are the voice in the wilderness. I have seen the deceptions first hand and we are in a battle for our future generations. The left’s playbook includes indoctrination at all levels of public education. Dumbing down our kids is happening right before our eyes.
