Who Moved My Freedom Podcast Episode 564 Matt Of Ballistic Ink

U.S.A.-(Ammoland.com)- You probably don’t spend a lot of time thinking about the Trials and Tribulations of a Gun YouTuber in the era of Anti Gun Social Media Platforms! Good for you, Don’t! It will just make you miserable. Because there is nowhere near the kind of money you read about the top 10 earners on the platform make a year ($150 million according to Forbes in 2019). Maybe I Should start doing Makeup Videos?

Reality is actually polar opposite to that for the Second Amendment advocates on YouTube. We spend our time being demonetized, censored, and de-platformed or otherwise fighting a magical morphing algorithm that is Skynet self-aware and has figured out how to go back in time and erase us from the timeline. Not just on YouTube, but on Facebook, Instagram, you name it. And you might say just “Sell Merch Bro”, that’s what everyone else does!

The only problem with that is you have to find trustworthy companies in the business that are also genuinely Pro-Freedom. Trust me I know from experience that’s not as easy as it sounds! To that end, Matt Robertson of Ballistic Ink, Our Special Guest on Episode 564, is offering a viable solution. The branding and merchandising company he runs day today was started by Eric and Brandy of Iraqveteran8888 on YouTube with the purpose of helping 2nd Amendment advocates and those in the firearms industry to earn the money we need to keep producing gun content and Pay Our Bills!

Joining Matt on the Podcast were Brickell of American Gun Chic and Patrick of Baby Face P on YouTube. Matt is an Army Veteran who served with Eric in Iraq and comes from a family with over a 30-year history in the printing and embroidery business. Our show is usually two hilariously entertaining hours long, starting promptly at 7pm Eastern time and ending around 9pm. With our guests beaming in from their homes and business around the country, and we always have a lively audience adding to the mix on YouTube. We don’t really plan out our conversation, usually allowing the subject matter to flow naturally, however we do try to break the show up into six twenty-minute sections (which mostly never works out perfectly) However to give you some flavor of the conversation here we’ll go ahead and break the show down into six rough segments.

Episode 564 WMMF Podcast Matt Robertson American Gun Chic Hank Strange and Baby Face P

[First 20] After some friendly banter with American Gun Chic (AGC) and Baby Face P (BFP) we delved into Matt’s background and how he came to meet Eric while serving in the same platoon in the Iraq war and later started running day to day operations at Ballistic Ink with Brandy and Eric. I definitely wanted to applaud them for going the extra mile to help out smaller content creators instead of just serving their own needs or only working with folks who had an equal or greater social media standing than them, a practice often found in the content creator community at large and within the gun community.

[Second 20] Just what kind of Merch is available on Ballistic Ink? If you wanted to support you local gun guy or firearms advocate, you can chose anything from clothing, watches, stickers or even sunglasses. Including taking a look at American Gun Chic’s Store on the site. We also spent time talking about the controversy surrounding Boogaloo Shirts and their meaning.

[Third 20] Are We Making Enemies Of Each Other For No Reason? The third section of the podcast finds us discussing the unfortunate shooting death of Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia and how its turned friend against friend in the Firearms Community due to speculation and conjecture.

[Fourth 20] What is H.R. 6666 and how is the Covid-19 crisis being used to take away our freedom? even as the crisis seems to be subsiding! This section of the show we turned to the often asked question of wether or not this is a real crisis or just a thinly veiled attempt of our leaders and media to garner more control over us in the future?

[Fifth 20] What Are We Spending Our Money On? This section of our podcast as we get around to talking more directly about the things we’re planing on spending our money on in the Firearms world.

[Sixth 20] The Hellcat and how did Springfield Armory get on the wrong side of so many gun folks? In the final minutes of the show we found ourselves discussing companies in the firearms industry that value short term profits over the second amendment.

Or Guest on Tonight’s Episode 567 Is Competitive Shooter Adam Litke who is also a Brand Representative of Holosun Optics.
