CwC,

If you’ve paid attention to many giveaways, from anyone, you’ve seen that many have extra points for going to their social media websites. It doesn’t mean that you have to participate there or register with them. Just click the button and leave. Furthermore, you don’t have to go to ANY of them. The contest is for all current and new AmmoLand subscribers. That means anyone who gets the digest in their e-mail. Since you’re reading this, you are probably ALREADY signed up for the giveaway.

Cruiser

Times as they are, the only way I’ll get more ammo, is to win it.

Dave in Fairfax

I feel your pain.

Sam in New Hampshire

Did anyone else immediately think, if you won, of dropping the box of 5000 rounds on the nearest Democrat’s foot?

Cea

Wow! Very generous indeed.
Although it would be nice to make the day for five people by giving each of them 1000 rd, instead of one person 5000 rd. In these times when it is so difficult to find any ammo, I would be willing to share with some friends if I win.

Robert

I wouldn’t have to worry about sharing it because I don’t have any friends.

Arny

I don’t have any that shoots 9mm. lol

Grigori

I was thinking of giving a couple of friends a case of 1,000 each if I win. One, with the stipulation that he get off his butt and get his CWP. He is in a state where it would allow him to breathe easier while carrying if he had it.

Cruiser

I really need this, but then again so does every other shooter out there. May the best man win.

Beobear

Or woman…..

The Cat Dad

This would make a very fine Christmas for the Ol’ Cat Dad. Thanks for the generous giveaway.

gregs

i have used cci ammo in 9mm and .22 for many years, excellent stuff. i have reloaded this brass twice so far with no issues. used to get it pretty cheap, but “in this day and age”, well, you know. someone is going to be really happy this holiday season. congratulations.

StreetSweeper

Winning this is my retirement plan!

PMinFl

If and only if…the wife and I could go to the range, what litte ammo I have is for SHTF.

PMinFl

FIVE (5) DAYS LEFT !! finally

Beobear

Thank you for this giveaway! Also, thank you for not using the platform that so many others have switched to for their giveaways. Way too many organizations using Gleam give almost unlimited entries to those with the largest social media presence. Those “giveaways” are all but impossible to win for most of us. You guys gave us all an equal chance to win which is extremely rare these days and I appreciate it.

Pa John

Back when buying ammo didn’t require good credit and 30 year mortgage options, I experimented with 9mm a bit and ultimately settled on the 124 grain “NATO” loads for my handguns (124 grains at around the advertised 1200 fps out of the muzzle of a full sized handgun with a 5″ barrel), and so that is what I have a whole lot of. Black Hills 124 grain HP’s are nice, and the Federal HST’s expand very well even at lower velocities from shorter barrels, and all the usual hand loads like most people experiment with of course. BUT, to actually… Read more »

Robert

Wow, this has to be one of the most generous, and expensive, giveaways in history!

MB

5,000 would allow me to train some more, and also instruct others in the sport of shooting, because there would be ammo to share, and then they would buy a gun or two. It is an sport growing because of the increase in awareness of self defense and then they find out it’s actually a fun sport. Then they decide to reload also, and they buy more items, supporting the industry and the 2nd Amendment even more.

RoyD

I’ll have you know that my primer stash is less than 40,000 and only half of it will fit into a small rifle/pistol pocket. Now the number of loaded rounds in inventory, that is another story.

Oh… no… please, don’t let me win, I would then have to buy a bunch more ammo cans to hold all of this or go out and shoot it all many times. Please… no…..

Sir_Kickington

Another great opportunity you guys are providing….fingers crossed so I win!

lktraz

5000 rounds would let me get in some needed range time/trigger therapy! As it stands you really can’t afford using the precious few rounds in your possession and so forego range time.

PMinFl

If I was lucky enough to win then I could go to the range again.

Darkman

@Dave in Fairfax ; Still a No Go even after turning off ad block. Still getting the gleam box with the 3 alternating squares in the middle that continue until you x out of the gleam bow. I waited a full 2 minutes. Obvious Gremlins in the works.

Dave in Fairfax

Darkman,

Did you turn off the pop-up blocker as well? Are you accepting cookies? I had to run Firefox in its original mode to get it to work, it did the same thing for me in my usual browser. That’s why I made the comment about secured browsers. Some of the new ones have anti-whatever ware blockers built in. I assume that you’re using Winders or Mac.

Darkman

None of the links work for the contest.

Dave in Fairfax

Darkman,

I don’t know the OS or browser you are using, but I have the same problem in my secure browsers. Try turning off your pop-up blocker for the time it takes to fill out the gleam–box that comes up. Fill it out, click the links, finish and then turn you blocker back on. I’ve had to edit my hosts file to let some of the links work as well. I suspect that what you are running into is a over-security issue. Hope that helps.

Do we have a winner? Anyone?

Elvis

It’s January 3rd… don’t tell me… someone’s demanding a recount?

TStheDeplorable

Too bad this wasn’t before Christmas. I would have dressed up as Santa and gone to my local Rifle & Pistol club and handed out boxes of 50 to everyone who showed up!

JNew

I’m more than a little curious how Ammoland *has* 5000 rounds to give away during this shortage… and annoyed.

F Riehl, Editor in Chief

We found it in stock using our own 9mm ammo fast links and used our credit card to buy it all up. Now we are giving it away.

panem et circenses

I’m betting that they bought it….

Dave in Fairfax

PEC,

That’s what Fredy just explained to you. Rather than have some 3rd party company promote their product and harvest your information, read the giveaway rules some time, AmmoLand bought the ammo using their own funds and is running a giveaway to its readers. To be a reader most have already signed up, so the info isn’t going to some 3rd party or marketing company. I’m having a hard time seeing this as anything but a Christmas/Hanukah present to the readers.

Dave in Fairfax

JNew,

What is it about 5K free rounds that annoys you. I like it when I get presents. Just a WAG, but I’ll bet everybody else does too.

Jealousy is never a good look and, if left standing, will destroy the person who harbors it.

Dave in Fairfax

gcm,

There IS a winner and they’ve been contacted. We’re waiting for them to do the paperwork on their side. When it’s done the announcement will be made.

Finnky

@Dave – Contacted as in two way communication or as in an email sent to their address?

Dave in Fairfax

Finnky,

“I really can’t say.” %-)
I have nothing to do with it so there isn’t any more that I can tell you.

Do we have a winner?

I don’t own a 9mm so after I win all this ammo, I’ll trade it for either reloading components or loaded ammo in the calibers I do have. Happy New Year.

TerTer46

Would love to win as I could realy, really use the Ammo!

PavePusher

And I don’t use horse-drawn buggies.

What’s your point?

P.S. ISWYDT…..
