Washington, D.C. – -(AmmoLand.com)- Hillsdale College’s Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship in Washington, D.C. is hosting its monthly “First Principles on First Fridays,” lecture this Friday, March 6, 2009 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the NRA Headquarters at 11250 Waples Mill Road in Fairfax, Virginia.

The featured speaker is Dr. Edward J. Erler, professor of Political Science at California State University-San Benardino. Dr. Erler, a senior fellow of the Claremont Institute, is the author of ‘The American Polity, The Founders on Citizenship and Immigration,’ and numerous other articles on the 14th Amendment, affirmative action, the death penalty and other topics. From 1983-84, Dr. Erler served as director of bicentennial programs at the National Endowment for the Humanities. He serves currently as a member of the California Civil Rights Commission.
