NEWTOWN, Conn –-(Ammoland.com)- In this first installment of a new Pull The Trigger video series on competitive shooting tips, world champion Doug Koenig discusses the three major handgun shooting stances –Weaver, isosceles and modified isosceles– and what works best for him and what may work best for you.

Doug is an acclaimed competition shooter who has not lost an action pistol match in the last five years.

A viewer of the video commented, “Thank you for this video. I have been modifying my stance from the isoceles… which I find a lot more natural but I was wondering if I was doing something wrong. It’s comforting to see a world-class shooter doing the same!”
