Washington, DC – -(Ammoland.com)- As the veto override session approaches, former New York City Mayor and billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun group, Everytown for Gun Safety, is pulling out all the stops to push the Obama/ Clinton gun control agenda in Missouri.

Everytown continues to inject large amounts of money into the Show Me State to prevent any attempt to override the Governor’s veto.

Don’t let anti-gun voices be the only thing that your lawmakers hear!  It is imperative that your legislators hear from YOU NOW!

On Wednesday, September 14, your lawmakers are reconvening to vote to override Governor Jay Nixon’s veto of pro-gun self-defense legislation, Senate Bill 656.  SB 656 seeks to expand the fundamental right to self-defense of Missourians and strengthen their ability to protect themselves and their families.  Senate Bill 656 was passed out of the Legislature with overwhelming support during the 2016 Regular Session before being vetoed by Governor Nixon.  Your lawmakers need to hear from you NOW!  Also, please make plans to attend the Statehouse to show your support of the override vote.  For more information and to RSVP, please click the “RSVP” button below.

The NRA has publicly condemned the veto of Senate Bill 656 by Governor Nixon, and now your legislators need to hear from YOU in order to override the veto.  Please click the “Take Action” button above to contact your state Senator and state Representative and urge them to support the override of Governor Nixon’s veto of Senate Bill 656.  Urge them not to bow to out-of-state, anti-gun interests by letting New York-style gun control come to Missouri.

For information on Senate Bill 656 and its importance, please visit NRA’s 2AinMO website.  Encourage your family, friends and fellow gun owners to visit this site and contact their lawmakers in support of overriding Governor Nixon’s Veto of SB 656.
