With a 20.6” barrel it is compact enough easily maneuver with it in a blind or when hopping out of the safari vehicle.
The American pattern Kevlar stock is ultra stable with a full length bedding block, and while it is designed to be used primarily with optics, it is equipped with adjustable back up iron sights as well.
If the scope should be damaged, or you find yourself in thick cover or hunting close fast moving game, the short sight radius of the 20.6” barrel helps you get on target quickly.
The 550 Medium Kevlar takes the basic concept and advantages the of the Carbine model, and adds an additional 2 inches of barrel length increasing the bore volume enough to take advantage of the long range capabilities of the 7mm Rem. Mag.
