NSSF Urges You to Support Spending Bill with Pro-2nd Amendment Riders

Call Your Representative at (202) 224-3121

National Shooting Sports Foundation

NEWTOWN, Conn –-(Ammoland.com)- Today the U.S. House of Representatives will vote on the 2013 Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies Spending Bill that contains ATF appropriations that include many pro-industry, pro-Second Amendment riders such as the so-called “Tiahrt Amendment” that protects sensitive law enforcement gun trace data from public disclosure.

The ATF rider also includes the “Rehberg Amendment” that would block ATF from requiring firearms retailers to report “multiple sales” of (AR-platform) modern sporting rifles, a requirement that NSSF is challenging in court (NSSF v Jones).

Urge your representative not only to support the 2013 Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies Spending Bill (the bill does not have a number) but also to oppose any amendments to strip out any provisions in the ATF rider.

To reach your legislator, call the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121.

Thank you for helping NSSF preserve our firearms freedoms.

    1. I support pro-gun efforts

      But…

Isn’t the NSSF the group that recently came out in support of Virginia Governors plan to expand the NICS to include private health records?

I do not support the NICS, the 1968GCA or any other law that infringes upon my God given right to keep and bear arms.

The only people that should NOT have guns are those in prison, in a mental hospital or illegally in the country.

The NSSF or any gun group does not need to make any concession or compromises at all for any reason.

In 1994 gun owners kicked the democrats out of power on the promise the Brady Bill/NICS would be repealed.

      Were still waiting!

What’s wrong with gun groups supporting the constitution has written, Shall not be infringed means “Shall NOT Be Infringed”

    2. I'm all a twitter…

Considering they now find merit in certain gun controls.
