JOHNSTOWN, Pa. –-(Ammoland.com)- The Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA) announced the launch of SportsmanLife magazine during the organization annual press conference at the 2014 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nev. last week.

The magazine’s content, which includes articles, images, videos and more, will be developed entirely by POMA’s professional media members. The quarterly digital magazine will launch in April 2014, and is published by Earth Sports Redux LLC (ESR)/ Labyrinth Holdings the publishers of Gamekeeper’s Magazine – Farming for Wildlife, Mossy Oak’s Turkey Thugs and Hunting the Country Outfitters Guide, as well as others.

“Content distribution, social media, magazines, publishing — it’s truly amazing how things have changed since I first started in the industry some 25 years ago,” stated SportsmanLife editorial director and outdoor communicator Eddie Lee Rider. “Distribution and quality of content are the cream that has risen to the top. And it was with this knowledge that I contacted POMA regarding this project.”

“POMA’s membership has, without a doubt, the best content developers available, from writers, to photographers and broadcasters — you name it, they are the experts and the most in-demand professionals in the space.

In addition, knowing how POMA professional communicators maintain and drive content from myriad channels they maintain on their own, coupled with the distribution channels POMA’s corporate partners can contribute, the potential is immense. Both the content stream and distribution stream are available. So, along with POMA, I am happy to announce the launch of SportsmanLife: The Official Publication of the Professional Outdoor Media Association.”

POMA’s more than 350 professional outdoor journalists live the outdoors, they don’t just cover the outdoor beat. You’ll find them afield the majority of the time, and their content sizzles with the spirit and energy of those who truly live the sportsman’s life.

“The partnership with ESR brings POMA and its members unparalleled benefits,” said Laurie Lee Dovey, POMA executive director and CEO. “First, POMA Media Members enjoy a new market open only to them. Second, POMA Corporate Partners garner important discounts on advertising packages. Third, ESR has committed a substantial portion of the magazine’s profits back to POMA, which help POMA assist all members in growing their businesses and offering cutting-edge services.”

About Earth Sports Redux LLC
Earth Sports Redux LLC (ESR) was formed in March of 2012 through the purchasing the assets of W3 Media Group which was operating a web property under the name Earth Sports. The entity was primarily a technology company which had successfully built a powerful online social media platform geared to the outdoor industry. Earth Sports Redux LLC purchased the technology and other related assets with plans to re-launch the website in late 2013. To complement the website and round out its strategic focus on the outdoor industry, ESR created two primary product lines which are sold in the outdoor market today – custom publishing and content creation/syndication.

Branded as ContentWorks Engine, ESR has changed the way content marketing is performed on the Internet by combining the creation of compelling content with the use of both broad and targeted Internet syndication technics to drive readers to our client’s content.
