Arizona – -(Ammoland.com)- In Donald Trump’s speech at Burlington Vermont,  on 7 January, The Donald paid tribute to an armed woman who defended herself in New Hampshire, virtually next door.

At 59:10, Trump says:

We have this woman in New Hampshire who actually said that I am going to vote for Mr. Trump.  She hears someone behind her.

We have to protect the Second Amendment, we have to protect it.

Trump goes on to say that the woman shot the man who attacked her, and the man did not die, he ended up in the hospital.  He says that he loves that woman, and continues to boost the idea of armed self defense.  Later, he talks about gun free zones on military bases.  He states that he will eliminate gun free zones on schools, and that he will eliminate gun free zones on  military bases on the first day of his presidency.  Trump says:

I will get rid of gun free zones on schools. You have to. And on Military bases, my first day, it gets signed.

If you listen to the video, it is pretty clear in context. He is talking about military bases. Then he adds that he will get rid of gun free zones on schools. The he says, “And on Military bases, my first day, it gets signed.”

Trump has this stream of consciousness style of speaking. These are not stump speeches. There is no teleprompter. The speeches are not memorized, so the syntax is not absolutely clear.

But it is clear from the context that he was primarily speaking about military bases.

Donald Trump praises an armed woman who uses a gun for self defense, and is happy to have her on his side.  He says we have to get rid of Gun Free School Zones, and he promises to eliminate gun free zones on military bases on his first day as President.

This was a very pro-Second Amendment speech.

On the Democrat side of the aisle, Benie Sanders, the socialist, is complaining about being labled as “a stooge for the NRA” .

From the hill:

“I absolutely agree with what the president is trying to do with his executive order,” Sanders said to a cheers at a Democratic candidate forum. Clinton was not in attendance.

“I know I’m being attacked as being a stooge for the NRA. Well, some stooge, I have a D-minus lifetime voting record,” he said.

Hillary is making more infringements on the Second Amendment a key part of her campaign.  She says that she will build on the restrictions that President Obama is attempting to put into law by executive order.  We have not seen this clear of a divide on the Second Amendment and gun issues since the election of 1994, after Bill Clinton rammed the ‘assault weapon ban’ and the ‘Brady Bill’ through a reluctant congress.

Perhaps she thinks she can convince voters that just a little more infringement will be ‘just right’.

Many Americans are already voting with their wallets.  Gun sales are at record levels.  The NICS checks for 2015 broke all records at over 23 million.  The support for the Second Amendment is at all time records in the polls.

2016 looks to offer a clear choice on the Second Amendment and guns.

He may be an ass, but he is this nations only hope to turn things around. Unfortunately Rand Paul does not seem to get enough publicity so what other viable alternatives do we have? A Hillary or Berney presidentcy will be another death nail in this great nations coffin.

Trump only loves Trump. Dump Trump.

What troubles me is that Trump has been a Dem for many many years.
What would happen if he isn’t selected as Rep nominee? – Maybe he runs independent – and splits Conservative vote – Saunders wins… just a thought

Trump is our trump card for 2016. Sanders is a liar about any support he has for guns. His is just hiding his hand as Obama did in 2008.
