Beginning with George W. Bush.

The Republican Party under Bush did the devil’s work. Bar the sainted Ron Paul, not a dog of a Republican lifted his leg in protest of the unjust war on Iraq.
To embark on the good, the GOP must come clean about the bad. To that end, Donald Trump has begun a vital process of expiation.
The 43rd president is categorized as “bad” and ranked 37th by Ivan Eland, author of “Recarving Rushmore: Ranking the Presidents on Peace, Prosperity, and Liberty.”

Each time the interchangeable John Kasich or Marco Rubio or Jeb Bush are asked about death by Muslim in the United States; they whip out that dumb “W” Doctrine, tethering attacks like San Bernardino in the US to wars the US should be waging over in the Middle East, and will be waging if these candidates have their way.
If you liked Bush’s willful and criminal war on Iraq; if you enjoyed watching aw-shucks “W” “Shock and Awe” Iraq to kingdom come with BLU-82s—boy, do you have a treat in store.
If you took pleasure in Bush unseating and executing law-and-order leader Saddam Hussein; you’ll love the plans Rubio, Kasich and Brother Jeb have for Bashar Assad and his family. As for Vladimir Putin, the not-so-comical three stooges have practically diarized conflagration with Russia.
I almost forgot: If you licked your chops when Bush disarmed dem little Iraqi boys by littering their playgrounds with cluster bomblets; your vampiric urges will be sated. In Bush’s Baghdad, hospitals teamed with limbless kids successfully disarmed. The Rubio-Kasich-Bush bandidos will similarly oblige their supporters. Happy times are ahead for their acolytes. …

The author is correct, although a little liberal for this site. I personally campaigned with letters and word of mouth and e-mail against the invasion of Iraq. There was and still is no justification for that war. That mistake cost our nation in lives, billions of dollars and created tremendous world distrust and resentment. She paints with too broad a brush and I do not agree with all she says.

Hi, I am a Veteran of 22 years and 240% VA rated (cumulative) disabled service connected. I was over there I fought in the middle east, In Beirut, In Kuwait and in Iraq. I also fought in wars from Viet Nam to Grenada Panama to Chile and El Salvadore. The “cold war” was not as “cold” as our bleedership would have you to believe. Yes Iraq was a WAR CRIM. Tell me again how the attack on the WTC was caused by Saddam Hussein because in all they years since not one shred of evidence linked Saddam to the WTC attacks meanwhile there is TONNES of evidence linking Israel and Egypt to it.

It irks me every time I hear a liberal talk about the W and that war. I remember all that transpired leading up to the invasion like it was yesterday. Very few on both side was opposed. Even the Clintons was on board. No one knew what they was going to find. All we did know was Saddam was a bad man, Even killing his own people, He had to go. In that aspect we did what we set out to do.

Please……..If I want to read revisionist history I will go to a liberal website. The opinions this author assumes were there, were not. I was in the Army before and after 9/11. I went to Afghanistan and Iraq. I have not forgotten what the justification was, what was actually found, and what the media continues to perpetrate. It’s this type of phoniness that makes every “thanks for your service,” seem like an empty gesture.
