Rugs are made to order, so they never sit in a warehouse where they can get dirty.
Every rug is personally reviewed before it leaves the shop to be shipped. If it doesn’t meet Stroud’s quality standards, then another one is made.
Highlights:
- Real Yarn Core: Stroud uses high-quality yarn on both the outside of the camo rug and for the core (some manufacturers use other material – even paper – for the core of the rug). Using actual yarn in the core makes the rug heavier and last longer.
- Stronger Thread: Rugs are sewn with extra-strong monofilament thread. It costs a little more, but it’s well worth it — it holds the rug together better than cotton (which is also prone to dry rot).
- Experienced Sewers, Better Machines: Stroud’s sewers have been sewing its rugs for a long time and are very conscientious – if they miss a stitch, Stroud doesn’t ship that rug. Quality sewing machines provide a wider stitch and more stitches per inch
