Virginia – -(Ammoland.com)- The Virginia Citizens Defense League Challenge Match starts January 1st 2017 at Firepower Tactical and can be shot any time in the month during normal business hours.
The match consists of four stages and should take 15 minutes or less to shoot. All is done with laser pistols and no live ammo is involved. Guns are provided. If you are pressed for time, call ahead to see if a screen is open. (The web site has video showing some of the shooting scenarios at the facility: www.firepowertactical.com)
The match cost $10 to shoot.
You do not have to be a VCDL member to shoot, however, you do have to be a current paid Virginia Citizens Defense League member to win cash prizes. Proof of membership will be required. If you are not a member, you can join at Firepower Tactical.
At the end of the month scores will be totaled and a winner will be announced. After three months, there will be a random draw for a cash prize winner.
Of the $10 entry fee, $3 will go to the monthly winner, and $3 will go into the pot for the random winner.
You must shoot all 3 months matches to qualify for the random prize. Prize amount will vary depending on the number of shooters.
