Gilbert, AZ –-(Ammoland.com)- It was with great sadness that we learned yesterday of R. Lee “The Gunny” Ermey’s passing.

Ironically, the sad news arrived as I was preforming last-minute prep for today’s launch of the Ultimate Steel fundraiser which he supported from early on.

Once again we have an autographed knife from The Gunny as part of that fundraiser.

The Gunny was an incredible human being, one of the warmest and nicest gentlemen you’d ever want to meet. I will cherish having known and worked with him.

He was a true patriot and a staunch Knife Rights supporter who said of this organization, “I whole-heartedly endorse the work of Knife Rights and support their mission! I detest the fact that such an organization is even necessary in the United States of America.”

He will be sorely missed. Semper Fi, Gunny. R.I.P

Blue Sky’s Gunny

Brick

A man with a great legacy. He lived the life many would envy.
You don’t have to be a Marine to see that Lee had the core as his core. Maybe well meet up on the other side. As He said, A Marine can not die because he does not have permission to die. He lives on in every Marine. Hoorah Gunny! Salute.

This should have been the headline news.
Sad to see him go. He was a man’s man.

Certainly, he carried a “Blu-Ray DVD” copy of Full Metal Jacket, to his final destination! Semper Fi-Gunny!!

Dan

America needs as many R. Lee Ermey’s as possible. Rest In Peace.
