WEST POINT, MS – -(Ammoland.com)- President Donald J. Trump recently announced his intent to appoint Ashlee Lundvall to be a Member of the President’s Council of Sport, Fitness, and Nutrition (PCSFN).
According to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, “PCSFN engages, educates, and empowers all Americans to adopt a healthy lifestyle that includes regular physical activity and good nutrition. Since 1956, the Council has created and promoted programs and initiatives that motivate people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to be active and eat healthy.”
As part of this two-year term, Lundvall will represent the U.S.A. and serve with fellow Members of PCSFN to implement systems that will move the country in a direction that focuses on health and staying active. She will serve on PCSFN with the likes of Mariano Rivera, Herschel Walker, Misty May-Treanor, Bill Belichick, Johnny Damon, Lou Ferrigno, Dr. Mehmet Oz, among several others that are elitists in their respective professions.
“I am representing a population of millions of Americans that just happen to be living with a disability,” said Lundvall. “They are a segment of our population that don’t always get represented. I’m hoping I may provide a different perspective to various ideas and solutions, so that whatever the Council is doing, we remember that we are representing Americans of all abilities.”
Lundvall’s first-hand experience in dealing with enormous amounts of physical and mental adversity will serve as a critical voice in idea development and implementation. Since a paralyzing ranching accident in 1999, Lundvall has spent the last 19 years redefining her life for the positive, influencing people across the world to make the most of their individual lives. She is a champion for change in the many organizations she works with. As a member of Mossy Oak’s National ProStaff, she is a natural outdoorswoman and adventurer with a powerful message of adaptability and perseverance. Passionate about accessible outdoor recreation, she energizes audiences around the country with her humor and authentic personal stories.
Lundvall lives in Cody, Wyoming with her husband and daughter. Depending on the season, she can be found camping, kayaking, hunting, fly fishing, or hand cycling while making a difference in board rooms, consulting businesses and mentoring newly injured patients and their families.
“At the end of the day, I’m just a simple person who has been given an incredible opportunity to be an advocate for what I’m passionate about,” said Lundvall.

Some explanation into what type of “ranching accident” would be a good insert. I do not know about ranching but farming is considered a hazardous occupation by Worker’s comp. insurance companies and I would think ranching would be right in there as well because they are very similar occupations.
