Walnut, CA-(Ammoland.com)- Holosun Technologies unveiled its new products for 2018 at the NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits, May 3 to 6 held in Dallas, Texas. Among the new and exciting products for 2018 is the HE510C Elite Open Reflex optic.

As part of Holosun’s new Elite line of optics, the HE510C Elite Open Reflex optic now features Holosun’s extremely visible green reticle, with three reticle choices available at the push of a button: a 65-MOA circle with 2-MOA dot; a stand-alone 2-MOA dot; or, just a 65-MOA ring. Choose between 10 daylight brightness settings and two (2) night vision settings. The HE510C puts a shooter on target fast, too, with an open frame for a wide sight picture.

The HS510C Elite is powered by Holosun’s new, dual power source “Advanced Super Solar Technology,” pairing a solar cell with a CR2032 battery. The HS510C’s “Shake Awake Technology” extends product life, too, switching the optic into the “sleep mode” after a pre-set amount of inactivity, then automatically powering back up at the slightest movement.

Parallax-free and with unlimited eye relief, the HS510C can handle tough conditions thanks to a titanium-alloyed, shock resistant protective hood built over a very solid T6061-T6 housing. A quick-release mount lets you easily attach the optic to your favorite AR, AK, or tactical shotgun.

All these features and many more-and priced several hundred dollars less than the competition.

Will it survive if mount it to my desert eagle 44 mag?

I agree with TrueBorn.
It would have added a lot to the story if they put the msrp of $353 in the body of the article.
I love my red reticle Holosun 510!
Much better than my Eotech as the reticle is a solid line instead of pixelated dots.
The Eotech is a battery hog and I am always changing a dead battery.
The Holosun battery life is incredibly long.
The auto on feature is nice.
Comes with a quick detach mount
I have it on a CZ Scorpion and it holds zero and looks great!

All those words….. and the time taken to write them, including, “priced several hundred dollars less than the competition”, but no mention of MSRP, anywhere. SMH.

One click and the price is right there, give it a try.

High Speed, Low Drag

The point being that reading the article is completly USELESS & a WASTE of time if if ends in a link to get the price.

I got the 510c for my AR and, the 507c for my EDC pistol. Each optic was a tad over $300 with tax but, well worth the $$$ just my opinion though.

I have this sight installed on my M1A SOCOM CQB. I like it a lot, there is no washout of the reticle even in bright sunlight. The sight holds zero even after being removed and re-installed on the weapon. The glass is perfect with no distortion and the sight has a wide field of view. I have probably 500 rounds through the rifle using the Holosun, and so far I’m very pleased with the choice.
