USA – -( The time has come to ask some questions because it's obvious that the Democrat Party attempted to steal the election of 2016. What would have happened if they had succeeded?

Their maniacal anger, in defeat, reveals the likelihood of future troubles.

What would happen if, no when, a weak President is elected who cannot deal with fake accusations of heartlessness, and who will be eager to compromise? We can be sure that the Democrats will be waiting, in the shadows, to finally orchestrate their long-awaited opportunity to regulate the Second Amendment out of existence.

We gun owners have spent years preparing for the possibility of criminal violence against our families and violence that would accompany various social disruptions such as hurricanes and earthquakes. But are we ready for a political onslaught? And, are we prepared for the inevitable devastating attacks on our Constitution?

The Democrats and their Left minions appear to be dragging our country into new, unknown territory.

There are questions that each of us must answer. How do we feel about death with honor rather than life with chains and slavery? What is moral and what is not in defense of family, and does morality even matter? How righteous is a preemptive strike to protect one's family?

David Kopel discusses the morality of violence and comments, “If violence – especially deadly violence – is always and everywhere immoral, then the Jews who violently resisted Hitler acted immorally.” Kopel believes that the discussion of the morality of violence is, in reality, a discussion about the appropriateness and the circumstances of the use of violence. He further comments, “the failure to use violence may itself be wrongful.”

While the serious nature of these questions began with the Founders, in 1994 the book, Lethal Laws, by Zelman, Simkin and Rice, heated the discussion. The book is still available used online. Zelman believed that genocide was easily committed by the governments against unarmed people. The early data describing seven genocides revealed that 55.9 million unarmed civilians had been murdered.

Daniel Polsby and Don Kates wrote as essay reviewing the book and commented on the notion of self defense against rogue governments. They note, “It is hardly a secret that lawful governments sometimes do grotesque things, quite often to popular acclaim.”

But, Polsby and Kates warn, “Though it is a long step between being disarmed and being murdered – one does not usually lead to the other – but it is nevertheless an arresting reality that not one of the principle genocides of the twentieth century, and there have been dozens, has been inflicted on a population that was armed…An armed population is simply more difficult to exterminate than one that is defenseless.”

The researcher, Rudolf Rummel, coined the word ‘democide' to include genocide and mass murder by government. He calculated 169,202,000 deaths by governments in the twentieth century. We note, that his books make fascinating reading.

Paul Rosenberg suggested that statists, which prefer large bloated governments, believe that any government is “morally superior” to its citizens. In their view, individuals cannot control themselves with deadly weapons, but, says Rosenberg, the opposite is true.

But one question is asked, as a warning. How can anyone armed with a fully automatic weapon prevail against a government force with tanks, planes, and modern technical weaponry? Aren't we making empty threats? Can we even think of resistance?

Survival Gun Safe
The Left needs to know about the decentralized power of armed citizens. They need to fear us.

However, David Kopel, in his review of the Zelman book thinks that armed resistance can be quite successful. There could be no pitched battle of man with rifle against tank and helicopter, but the Tyrant would face a huge economic price. Kopel explains that the kind of well prepared civilian resistance that would exist in the US would be quite successful.

Kopel further writes, “the most important benefit of defensive arms is their deterrent power. As long as a potential dictator must take into account very serious risks involved with taking action against the American people, then the prospect for such actions being taken becomes marginally smaller.”

Yes! He is correct, as our possible enemy does not know our strength! They can only guess. We do not demonstrate. We do not make trouble. Meanwhile, the Democrats’ behavior shows that they are not aware of any risk.

Kopel is concerned, though, about the timing of violent resistance. He suggests,”One guide for when a subject people should resist may be the people's assessment of the government's degree of hatred.”

But we find the country, under President Trump, to be neither a budding tyrant nor a hater. It is the Democrat Party, especially with their socialist wing, who are exhibiting abnormal amounts of hatred against the President, and his supporters. So we might be looking at an impending civil war.

At some point, in the foreseeable future, these people might be voted into office and attempt another coup d'etat. They might be legally able to realize their desire to create a list of guns and gun owners via an expanded background check system which is mandated to save the records of the NICS system. They have definitely become bolder and are out of the closet that hides their intent to destroy the Second Amendment and our right to own legal weapons. “Repeal the Second Amendment,” the New York Times blasted out.

Even if such a time exists, they will never be able to disarm us. We will always wish to avoid violence in our streets and homes.

We suggest that these and other papers we presented here which discuss our Founding Father's view of civilian weapons wielding should be read and discussed more publicly. Revolt of the Masses by Charles Dunlap is an interesting read.

We laud the Three Percenters because they already know. We are so armed and so ready, yet those idiots act like they are not aware that they are racing toward danger and that they will never get the stuff they want by using violence. We tolerate a lot from them because we have a lot to lose if violence begins.

It may never be about genocide, but it will be about freedom.

Simply put, The Left needs to know about the decentralized power of armed citizens. They need to fear us.

And offered not one word of praise for his character and achievements in service to his country, but rather merely a sterile, one line of condolence to the family? While every other former president and so many politicians on both sides of the aisle have offered profound and eloquent eulogies… Never mind that salute. Too bad, John.             Reportedly he crashed three aircraft in his service to the nation,one of the carrier landings almost sunk his carrier,of course it was overlooked because his grand pappy and daddy were former admirals in their service to the nation.

            1. Single engine fighter planes crash all the time. In combat they get shot down. On the carrier a rocket got loose on another airplane and exploded near McCain’s.
              But McCain’s service was fine until he became a Senator. I think he left his judgement in Hanoi, particularly when it came to judging anything called “torture” which would be like calling the Dallas Cowboys Cheer Leaders a porno squad.
              I hope that a replacement Senator places conservative Republicanism about compromising for all of the wishes socialist Democrats.

The rocket/missile came from a plane opposite of his and struck either his plane and or the plane next to him. There were 134 sailors that perished in the conflagration. According to reports McCain conducted himself valiantly during this disaster.

Zelmen Simkim got it wrong, Stalin alone accounted for some 50 million dead, with the genocide of the Kulacks the purges, and the starvation of his own people from collectivization of all food production and distribution . These 50 millions are not included in the deaths that are attributed to combat troop deaths during the war. He also murdered all of the white Russians that supported the monarchy right after they were ordered to turn in their arms.

    8. I am fascinated at the huge response one shooter draws from law enforcement…probably 20 if not 100 to one. Imagine a municipality dealing with 5 or 6 groups of resisting individuals spread out over miles, multiplied by a hundred if not a thousand municipalities. The government still has the upper hand, but how much would a front line officer be willing to take against his own people?

      1. Don’t forget hurricane Katrina in 2006 or so, in Louisiana, the police were going around taking the guns of citizens who had not broken any laws. The police did not object to this unlawful order, and they carried out in the name public safety. I would not be so trusting of the police and soldiers to do the right thing when it hits the fan.
        In the beginning anyone resisting the government will considered a criminal with lawful arrest warrants .
        Does any one think that a “criminal”can convince the police officer to join him?

        1. Yes indeed we can and it will be stunningly simple. As Mitchel Kotula describes above, when the match gets struck small groups of freedom fighters surrounding LE will quickly convince them that things are about to change. This will grow from the suburbs and spread to the larger cities. There is not a one that exists that could resist a siege from the surrounding population.

I honestly don’t believe that the 2nd amendment will ever be abolished it is a part of our Constitution that was written be our founding fathers,yes I do know that that there are some out there that would like to see it abolished and remove guns from our modern day society,but the backlash and resistance to that I believe would be so great that it would make it impossible to ever happen think about how big of an undertaking it would be for the federal government to confiscate all of American citizens weapons and I think you can understand my point.I am a registered Democrat but I do firmly believe in our Constitution as well,i don’t believe in everything that the Democratic party stands for but I do believe that we need to begin to have serious discussions about what can be done to stop these uncontrollable mass shootings over the entire country every week it seems I hear about because obviously the current laws are not working to stop it,that is just my view and I’m sure everyone doesn’t agree with but like every other problem we have in this country we need to begin work together with one another to solve them,not try to divide the country to solve them. Be advised Donald that there are some sixty countries out there with laws that forbid private ownership of firearms, and yet they have higher murder rates, per hundred thousand, than the United States. Laws are no substitute for an armed populace. Laws are already in place that prevent convicted criminals and mental incompetents from obtaining firearms. And we know that said laws don’t work.
        Honest people are constrained by feelings of guilt and shame. Sociopaths don’t have those sensibilities.

We made a really scary example of people that committed capitol crimes, and we did it in public.

      One of the key factors that carried our war for indepenedence from Britain back in the late 18th century was the decision, on the day of Lexington and Concord, to adopt that tactics of “assymetrical warfare”…… Yes, at Lexington and Concord, troops lined up facing off and blasted away, letting fall who fell, reloaing, and doing it again. BUT.. once Capt. Smith’s men managed to gather their beaten selves and commence their long straggle back home to Boston, they marched (sort of) in formation as usual, while dozens if not hundred os Yanks took potshots at them from behind ricks and trees, and at ranges two to three times what any Brit solider ever would have attempted… one man, “too old to fight” saddles his huge white mare and rode out parallel to Battle Road, having her stand in opportune places some two hundred yards plus from the road, and waiting for a company of soldiers to come round a turn into his view. He would fire two or three rounds, each one finding its mark, then mount up and ride further along the road and repeat. During the afternoon he, too old to fight, singlehandedly despatched somehwere between 15 and 18 British OFFICERS. Yes, he targetted officers. “Cut off the head of the snake”.

      When there are tanks about, don’t be foolish enough to fire upon them with your AR. Learn where the tanks are kept, and who keeps them. Follow them home, wait along the road as they go, wait until they are NOT in their tanks. Find how the fuel moves, disable that chain. Take out bridges necessary for the rapid movement of their materiel, or the tanks themselves. Assymetrical warfare is VERY effective. Once the ones who drive the tanks realise they personally are targets, they may tend to make an informed decision that their present occupation might not be so conducive to long life and happiness.

      1. Well documented. Those Brit soldiers had no idea of the resolve of their opponents. I live near the battle of Bennington and Saratoga. These were fought mostly by citizen farmers and they’d had enough. I am always moved by the sight of grave markers with ‘Joe Jones, 13th Mass Militia, 1776’.
        However, I do believe that it was Gen Gage that led the brits to Lexington.

The Russian governments response was prove it, I say the same the FBI need to prove to the American people, I say declassify everything so people can make informed decision during our 2018 election and embarrassing the Russian government if true,so yes the second amendment is there if we need it,but I hope to God we never have to take up against each other over this,but at the same time if our government agencies and career politicians did knowningly and purposely conspired against the Trump campaign this may seem harsh but dragged from their home and hung for treason because interference with a free election is the highest form of treason and destroys everything that many people died for the Constitution!

Ask our own tankers how those armored vehicles worked out for them in the jungles in Viet Nam. No amount of Government force will ever overcome an ARMED, FREE populace.

      3. @Quatermain, Well… brother, first we all know if a judge, senator, congressman, batfe agent or fib agent lives near us. We watch and keep track of their schedule … when they come when they go.
        Then we think about their vulnerabilities. Maybe they don’t have a canine early warning system. Maybe they like to jog for exercise. Maybe they have lax operational security standards.
        Maybe we, and our claw hammer, join them on their jog. Maybe when they arrive home we accidentally run into the open driver side door cutting their legs off. Maybe we pour a gallon of gasoline on their front porch and light it before they go to bed and when they come running out the front, we finish them off. Then maybe we forever keep our mouths shut.

    16. There’s no need to regulate the second out of existence.” There is, however, a need to return to the original intention of the 2nd amendment and go from there. Contrary to Ammoland’s imaginary scenario of arming people to fight tyranny, the framers who wrote and debated the 2nd amendment left notes indicating that it was all about having ready call-up militias to secure a free state. And that’s how they wrote it. Article 1, Section 8, Clause 15 & 16 backs this up by giving the federal congress full control over the states militias (except for the appointment of officers) including deployment to “suppress insuurections.” Due to the Shay’s Rebellion a few years earlier, Washington feared that stupid rednecks would overthrow their new government. He wrote very specific letters to representatives urging the formation of these militias to shut down attempts to overthrow the government. And he presided over the Constitutional Convention to make sure that it happened.

      A secondary reason was also crucial for the inclusion of the 2nd amendment: several slave states refused to sign the Bill of Rights because they rightly feared that abolitionists like Hamilton and Morris might use Article 1, Section 8, Clause 15 & 16 to disarm their Slave Patrols/militias. Patrick Henry made an impassioned speech on the House floor over this very issue. So James Madison culled George Mason’s ahendment to Virginia’s Cobstitution that ensured the existence of Virginia’s slave patrols and introduced it to the House as the 2nd amendment. Once embedded in the Bill of Rights, Virginia signed giving them the 3/4ths of the states required to make it into law.

      That’s the documented actual history of the 2nd amendment, which as ypu can see is completely dufferent than the NRA’s revisionism that’s oft quoted now.

The theory of militias being under total control of the Federal Government has been shot down (pun intended) in Cruikshank, Presser, Miller (in part) (although Miller was bad law) and Heller. If you want to continue to believe otherwise that’s up to you but don’t try pawning off half truths as gospel to suit your agenda.

      3. @Jon B, You mistake the nature of Rights as contrasted to Powers and Authorities. Rights, enumerated in the section of the Constitution known as the Bill of Rights, belong to individual persons. The powers and authority, that you refer to in clauses 15 and 16 of Section 8 in Article 1, belongs to Congress.
        Nothing in the Second Amendment belongs to Congress. Nothing in Article 1, Section 8, clauses 15 and 16 belong to individuals. Everything in the Second Amendment and everything in Article 1 are mutually exclusive.
        A well settled principle of constitutional interpretation is that if language in the Constitution uses the word Right, then what follows belongs to the people, or even one person. Language that uses the words power or authority refer to the executive, the judicial or the legislative branch of the federal government. Please see “Constitutional Interpretation by Ducat and Chase.

Since the US Army, National Guard, Marines and USAF and the Navy & CG is almost 100% US citizens, a tyrant could not expect the officers and men and women, citizen soldiers to use the weapons against free citizens. In fact, the oath that officers swear to is to the Constitution and not the President, Congress or the JCS.
        Any tyrant would have the uncertainty of whether an order to the Army would result in the citizens being arrested or killed by air strike or if the Officers would honor their Oath and join the rebellious citizens.
        Keep in mind, After years of oppression in Boston, finally in 1775 the Minutemen marched to preserve the arms they would need to conduct a Revolution. A year later the Continental Congress wrote the Declaration of Independence to explain and memorialize what they had done April 19, 1775.
        The a dozen years later they wrote a Constitution to make a new and better government. But when it went to the States for ratification many men, including Patrick Henry objected that te rights of the people were not adequately protected. The demand for a Bill of Rights before the new Constitution was ratified and official made the Bill of Rights the first order of business for the new, 1st Congress.
        Patrick Henry’s speeches demanding a Bill of Rights are printed in a book by Elliott titled DEBATES. Henry said that the militia clause in Article 1, Section 8 put the militia in the hands of Congress and paid by Congress. Henry said “your militia will desert you and fight against you. What will become of you and your rights?”
        The Bill of Rights was written to protect the rights of citizens to have the arms that are needed to depose a tyrant. A right and a duty the Declaration says the people must have to secure freedom.

        1. The Americans put up with decades of British tyranny before they chose to fight it. Like today, many people hesitated to use violence because they had a lot to lose. They waged war only after the British government escalated its arrests of ” trouble makers” , and then attempted to disarm the population as a whole.

Personally if I were ever given an order to use my weapon against people here at home I would use my own judgment before firing .     22. I deeply feel America is heading toward a second Civil War, and just one shot/assassination fired by either side will ignite it! Similar to how WW1 started. America is a smoldering powder keg, and, sadly, being fueled by many made-up issues! I hear what Black Lives Matter is saying, but no one cries out for brutalized white guys beaten nearly to death by cops in Los Angeles. NOTE: I have friends on both sides.
      I am almost 80 and have had many black and Hispanic friends over the years, and one of my groomsmen was Mexican, but not one of these ever felt held back by white suppression. My 1966 boss at Raytheon, Ollie Hunt, was black, the only black at that time, and we all loved him and threw his 50th birthday party.

Some are quite expensive and not easily stored and maintained by the average citizen, but with the proper licensing, etc., and enough money, and other resources, one being land, one is able to acquire many arms. When someone asked why do we need another gas tax. He said something like, either that or they will be forced to make cuts in our protective services.
