Pittsburgh Murders Prompt Jews to Attend Firearms Information Session

DALLAS-(Ammoland.com)- More than 20 members of an Orthodox Synagogue attended a Firearms Information Session on November 27, 2018, in Dallas, TX. A Girl & A Gun (AG & AG) Executive Director Robyn Sandoval and AG & AG Dallas Chapter Facilitator Dawn Rodriguez led the question-and-answer presentation that addressed a variety of topics, including armed self-defense in a place of worship, with children, and in the home.

“In the aftermath of the Pittsburgh murders, many Jews who have long been uninterested in firearms ownership have been awakened by the heinous crime,” says Yehuda Remer, who organized the event. “The first step to owning a firearm is education, and I wanted to give members of my community the chance to actively learn from knowledgeable firearms instructors.”

Remer, who is known by the moniker The Pew Pew Jew, is the author of Safety On, a book on firearms safety for children. He reached out to Sandoval to meet with families in the Orthodox community.

“It can be scary for families to accept that there are evil people who want to hurt others,” says Sandoval. “As a mother and firearms professional, I am able to address both the mindset and marksmanship needed to protect one’s family. Educating new gun owners includes providing facts on the safe use and storage of firearms, while dispelling misinformation that may have been obtained through movies and news media.”

Sandoval and Rodriguez provided information on upcoming AG & AG training opportunities, as well as resources on where to find classes on tactical medicine and other safety topics.

The event was successful and Remer is planning additional information sessions for his synagogue and others in the Dallas area.

Wild Bill The green weenie just keeps prodding and now he is psychoanalyzing us as a physic would do. I guess he has nothing else to do but pick at we Constitutional people. It must be a real negative thing to be a socialist , but I wouldn’t want to experience it to find out. I would like to see a picture of your Mannlicher-Schoenauer but that may be pushing things with the internet police so I will look it up.
Merry Christmas and a happy new Volquartsen.

@HolyCrow: Oh, and how do you think they’ll craft something that will limit the range a bullet can travel? I see you’ve given that a lot of thought.

For Chrissake, Vanns, quit giving them ideas. Don’t you know that they got spies infiltrated all over these boards ? For all I know, you are one and you just gave away something they are working on. No disrespect meant, just stating a fact. These gungrabbers will pick up on any scrap to needle us with. They have unlimited tax funds and the weight of government to push these ideas thru into laws. The old hag Loretta is probably licking her chops right now. And Bloomberg is ready to sign a check.

For Tom Cat and Wild Bill, Some become so self involved about an important subject that they become quite defensive. I’m not here lodge attacks. I’m here to express to others what I believe in, share thoughts and hear concerns of others. If you feel attacked and fearful by my comments, then I suggest step back and observe my comments in 3rd person.

I have never understood why every jewish and armienan person on the planet isn’t armed to the teeth 24/7 since the early 50’s! yet havind lived in NY most jews that I’ve met are anti gun… on the other side those that I’ve met that are progun are almost militant about firearms! jews for firearm ownership has been on my list of favorite organizations for decades.

Green Weenie Dog You speak from behind. In other words it is becoming very clear what side of the fence you are on. I doubt if you have ever held a gun let alone fired one or owned one. You only talk of sensible laws to govern guns. You are the the number one (middle finger) troll on this site. You are purely a socialist/communist and can’t manage your own life so you ask the government to do it for you. I am not mad at myself or anyone else, except your ignorant a$$. You are not getting anyone to… Read more »

@Tcat, Yep, the Free Lunch Dog is just a low level propagandist. He is not even clever enough to disguise himself well. I have to give him credit for working so hard leading up to Christmas. Apparently even democrat national socialist, naturally blabby, gun grabbers need a few extra dollars at Christmas time.
Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Rifle.

Wild Bill I know what you mean, I hesitated to even reply to his attack (I still don’t know why he attacked) because I didn’t want to pad his pay any. He is a definite socialist/communist who wants the government to make all his decisions and tell him what to do.
Merry Christmas to you and a happy new rifle, but you got a new one last year. LOL

@Tcat, In his latest, he calls us defensive and thinks we give a shit about his socialist, lock up one’s guns, views. Baaa haaa haa!
Brother, you should see the beautiful Manlicher-Schoenhuer that I bought, last Christmas, and it is too pretty to lock up in any safe. This year I have my eye on a Volquartsen in .17WSM!

@wildbill: I would urge you to cast an eye toward an AR in 224 Valkyrie, with a 24” barrel with a 1:6 twist. You may have to order the barrel but it’s the same one that, with a 90gr Match King bullet, accomplished what they said was damn near impossible, a consistent one mile hit on a steel target with a 90gr bullet. Ballistics are impressive, it stays supersonic to 1300 yards! A buddy of mine duplicated the build except his rifling is 1:6.5 instead of 1:6. He’s impressed. Certainly drives Liberals crazy knowing we can build “assault rifles” capable… Read more »

Michael Bloomberg is doing his best to stop Americans from owning firearms and the man is dangerous to the second amendment with his billions of dollars to spend pushing his narrative.

It has always amazed me as to why the Jewish people in the US are democrats and hate guns. Was history not a lesson with the millions of Jews killed over the world and others are still trying to annihilate them. It is good to see some are seeing the “light”.

How come we never hear about the HoloDomer, where the Jews starved to death tens of millions of Christians in the Ukraine region. Oh, that’s right, the “Jews” control the press so the story never got told. I almost forgot.

Vanns40 is correct. Statistically some 95 percent of American Jews are against Firearm ownership and the Second Amendment. I once asked Aaron Zelman the founder of JPFO why American Jews were like this. He told me it was due mostly to the immigration of Jews from Europe where firearm ownership is tight and their politics are very liberal. He said their parents and grand parents who immigrated here brought those and their other liberal values and they have been passed along. Now Jews from Israel are of a different mind set…

I’m Jewish and feel the second tragedy was that no one in that Temple was armed. Glad to see some have woken up. Plenty of Jews are gun owners, we just tend to be quiet about it

What a difference an armed citizen might have made in this and every tragedy that has taken place. Just the resistance of several fired shots toward the shooter could have completely stopped the carnage even if the attacker wasn’t hit. Gun laws keeping the innocent from protecting themselves and others will only perpetuate the slaughter. Unless your of the upperclass with bodyguards your safety is questionable. Please take your head out of the sand and do something to make a difference if your ever in a situation that your in need of self defense.

American Jews, for the longest time, have been one of the strongest supporters of gun control in the country, especially B’nai B’rith. This attitude, given the history of mass murder of Jews around the world has always been a source of constant frustration. Perhaps now, Jewish leaders will realize this folly that has left their people, yet again, subject to continued atrocities.
