Las Vegas, NV. – -(AmmoLand.com)- The capstone of Alliance Week will be the Stand for America event, benefitting and in partnership with the Special Operations Charity Network (SOCN). This exclusive patriotic event is made possible by our sponsors including presenting Medal of Honor Sponsor, Purple Monkey Garage and will take place on Wednesday night 23 Jan, at Stoney’s Rockin’ Country, next to Mandalay Bay on the Las Vegas Strip!
Stand for America is a night of patriotism bringing patriots, veterans, first responders, and the like together to raise money for our great American Veterans! The event will kick off a VIP networking hour starting at 5:00pm at Stoney’s, with General Admission doors opening at 6:00pm. A local Veteran Color Guard will post the colors and then the benefit concert will kick off starting at 7:00pm. Stand for America and Alliance Week are pleased to welcome Scooter Brown Band as the headliner of the night, with openers Nick Sterling Music and Blackbird Anthem kicking things off. Each of the three bands are fronted by US Combat Veterans!
Scooter Brown Band, fronted by US Combat Marine Scott Brown, is making huge waves in the southern country rock genre, and just completed a stint on Real Country, and are a Rolling Stone band to watch. They put on a heck of a great show and are a welcome main event to the concert. This year SOCN has chosen to support three amazing charities doing great work for our brothers and sisters in arms.
100% of the funds generated from this event will go to benefit Gary Sinise Foundation, Wheelchairs for Warriors, and SEAL Kids. The night will have special announcements for Gary Sinise and a representative for SEAL Kids. Wheelchairs for Warriors will be presenting a custom mobility specialized chair to a US Combat Marine who lost a leg and needed a specialized solution. Come and spend an evening among a great group of patriots, hear this Marine’s story, and listen to some great music, all while raising funds for some great charities!
