Mark Vaughan, Nominee for the 2019 NRA Board of Directors ~ VIDEO

Editor’s Note: This is Mark Vaughan’s first time running for the NRA BOD to become a new director on the board.

USA – -(AmmoLand.com)- Mark Vaughan, nominated by the NRA for the 2019 Board of Directors Election, announces the launch of his election campaign.

A lifelong hunter, outdoorsman, firearms competitor and collector, Mark sits on both NRA’s Law Enforcement Assistance and the Education and Training committees.

He is passionate about training, he has been a NRA, hunting, and law enforcement instructor for the past twenty years serving groups such as the Boy Scouts and Women on Target. For the past 25 years Mark has also been an active member, trustee, president, and current vice president of the 2000 – member Oklahoma City Gun club, overseeing its expansion and growth.

Mark has served his community through the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s department as a reserve deputy in the patrol, training, and tactical units. In 2014 he was named NRA’s Law Enforcement Officer of the Year, received multiple awards of valor and later honored by the Oklahoma State Legislature for his actions in stopping an extremist attack at an Oklahoma food facility.

An experienced businessman, Mark grew Vaughan Foods from a regional food processor to a publicly-traded enterprise and sold the business in 2012. He remains active in the agriculture, food, and logistics industries.

“Like many of you, I grew up in the woods and fields with a rifle or shotgun in my hands – guns are and have been a big part of my life since I was a kid. I don’t remember when I joined the NRA – but it was certainly before my 18th birthday. I’ll admit it – I’m a gun nut, whether your talking antique side-by-side shotguns, or modern sporting rifles, cowboy guns— I’m all in!

“The NRA’s work is more critical than ever to preserve our firearms heritage. Even though I’ve served at the national level with the NRA, I believe I can have broader and deeper impact as a board member. I would greatly appreciate your support.” states Vaughan.

I appreciate the perspective and content of many of the comments. I am a life member of the NRA and plan to attend the annual meeting to voice my concerns. I suggest that you do the same. If you prefer to support other 2nd amendment supporting organizations please do so.

I know Mr. Vaughan personally and I am voting for him to be a NRA director. I suggest that you do the same if you are a member and are eligible to vote.

Best wishes to all.

UPDATE, to readers & Ammoland staff:
I WROTE, “Yesterday I wrote and asked you to answer some concerns in an on-line magazine. You failed to answer those questions either by e-mail or on-line. That has been noticed, the votes you wanted are, now, far less likely.”
This just came in:
“Thank you David for reaching out. I am preparing answers to the questions and will be sending those to Ammoland to be published. Appreciate your patience.”

I guess we’ll see what his responses are.

NRA can’t be bothered with law suits to right the waters, they are too busy playing damage control and begging for more money to keep them afloat

red flag laws ..,,,,o great, where will this lead to i wonder?
mmmmm?
everyone in the bar is busted because your car is parked outside…..now up against the wall ! your all are busted!

Dave in Fairfax

Where did that come from? Red flag laws weren’t in the article or video. There was one comment that mentioned them but that was all. What are you referring to?

Dave in Fairfax

I checked his website, and didn’t get answers there either. I wrote a message to him pointing to this article and asking him to reply to the questions in the comments TODAY. We’ll see if he does. If he replies to me directly, I’ll post that reply.

One more question.
Is he going to fight back by using the Law to remove the Anti-Constitution
Criminals or is he just going to try to block them? We need answers.

Just one question: Do you believe all firearms laws should be repealed? A simple yes or no will do just fine.

JMR

If he’s any good the NRA won’t allow him to win.

If he’s allowed to win he isn’t any good.

While N.R.A. Backpedals and does damage control for its CAVE – IN on Red Flag Laws and Bump Stocks , G.O.A. is challenging the N.F.A. and BATF on grounds it has no authority to regulate guns under ” TAX LAW “……
NO Compromise !
