Virginia: Special General Assembly Session Pushing Gun Control Starts July 9th
Ban Everything

Virginia – -( We have just learned that the special General Assembly session is set for Tuesday, July 9th, 2019!

There is no set number of days the session will run. That will be up to the General Assembly leadership.

With a start date set, Virginia Citizens Defense League can now begin making detailed plans.

Please be prepared to respond to calls for action on VA-ALERT from now until the end of the session.

If you can get some flexible time off to come to Richmond during the week of July 9th, that would be great!

We will need to FLOOD committees and subcommittees rooms. This is where the rubber meets the road.

Future alerts will have various calls to action. All gun owners and concerned citizens need to stand should-to-shoulder to make sure our rights, and the rights of generations unborn, are protected. We need to fight this push for gun control as if our lives depend on it, because in the end, they do.

    1. Why don’t politicians or bureaucrats ban criminals? Oh wait, they can’t as evidenced by the vast numbers of jails and prisons. Somehow these morons are as stupid as the laws they pass. Punish everyone not associated with the crime, then those bad people won’t do bad things. Right?

    2. I’m originally from NY. Every corner in upper Manhattan sells drugs. They all have guns. People in NY own guns you can’t even buy in Virginia legally. The only people who don’t have guns are law abiding citizens. My father was left for dead in a elevator. I know numerous people who have been stabbed or shot. Numerous of unreported rapes. That should not be common. I moved to viginia and the first thing I did was buy a gun legally. I know the importance of having the right to defend yourself. I wil honestly guarantee that Virginians will be screwed if that happens. It is so sad that the people have rights that people did not have for thousands of years and people just want to throw away their rights. I can’t believe how people are against the Constitution. I blame the school system for their liberal teachers teaching kids to throw their rights away. I will never vote democrat for the rest of my life. The hell with cnn. 2.5 million cases of a gun used in self defence each year should be enough proof of why we need guns. We need to draw pictures with crayons while explaining ourselves because they just don’t get it.

    3. Sadly, my delegate is a democrat and will vote with Gov Blackface Northam. He spoke at our civic league meeting a few months ago and complained about the gun control bills being defeated and actually mentioned the old story about how most guns used in crimes in NYC come from VA. I told him I didn’t care about NYC, I was concerned with him impeding my Constitutionally protected rights. He also blamed the NRA for various issues and I went around with him on those as well. Though it will likely do no good he still got letters and emails from me about the special session.

    4. There would be far fewer ‘deranged’ people shooting up others, if we all (or most of us) carried guns. How can I say this? It’s simple. These nutters drive right past many ‘target-rich’ locations in order to commit their mayhem in some ‘gun-free zone’ where there is no defense against them. If they were truly crazy they wouldn’t all have the sense to do that, so apparently a strong likelihood of being shot by an intended victim is an effective deterrent.

      1. Like the movie theater shooter in Aurora, CO. He drove past about a dozen theaters showing the same Batman movie to get to the one that didn’t “allow” guns. Seems their sigh was broken that night, or it just didn’t see HIS guns and stop him.
