Behar as Ignorant of Constitutional Government as She Is of Guns

“Joy” is hardly a word a rational person would use to describe a government that can forcibly impose its will on the populace by surprise, the type of person who would propose that, or the clueless airheads cheering her on. (The View/Facebook photo)

U.S.A. – -(Ammoland.com)- Proving once more that gun-grabbers who claim no one is talking about taking your guns are liars, “The View” co-host Joy Behar said on Monday’s program that politicians should not only confiscate guns but should do it by surprise.

“His stance on gun buybacks, Mayor Pete said it was a shiny object to distract from achievable gun reform,” Meghan McCain noted in a discussion of Beto O’Rourke dropping out of the presidential race. “Chris Coons said it wasn’t a wise policy or move, and that clip will be played for years at Second Amendment rallies with organizations that try to scare people by saying the Democrats are coming for your guns.”

Organizations don’t need to try and scare people. All gun owners need do is listen to the words of Democrats and understand that “gun control” and “commonsense gun safety laws” are euphemisms for citizen disarmament. And Behar was quick to make just that point:

“They should not tell everything they’re going to do. Like if you're going to take people’s guns away, wait until you get elected — then take the guns away. Don’t tell them ahead of time.”

The audience, of course, no more wary of a government of unlimited and lawless power than Behar, burst into applause. Think about what that means, because it’s a cinch they won’t.

There’s evidently no need for checks and balances. The executive can spring a surprise revocation of key Bill of Rights mandates without legislation or court cases, or if any action does take place on those fronts, they should be kept a secret from the American people.

And then come the “Surprise!” raids – what could go wrong?  Does this bloody-minded harpy or her even more vacuous “fans” have any idea what she is calling for? Probably not. Magical “thinking” just requires wishing something were so. When that morphs into expectation for forceful actions against those who not only don’t agree but will push back when provoked, it becomes pathological.

This is the very definition of tyranny and a key reason why we have the Second Amendment-recognized right to keep and bear arms. This is undisguised totalitarianism, and the gaggle of useful idiot harridans on “The View,” and their even less informed and more moronic audience, are clueless to the historical genocidal danger such unchecked power has always unleashed. Hell, they demand it because of “feelings.” This is a disgusting convergence of media influencers and citizenship malpractice that has no place in rational political discourse and even less of a place in enforceable law.

I have to admit, never having watched the show in full, it exceeded expectations for puerile leftist bitchiness (assuming Democrats will let me say that). How anyone can subject themselves to even one complete viewing, let alone immerse themselves in such media ordure on a regular basis, is beyond me.  If this is the state of most American women (and we would be remiss not to note some gushing “progressive males” among the “fans”), this country’s foreign enemies have to be heartened and emboldened, and eager for their domestic counterparts to hurry things along.

This woman is a yenta! I am being polite. She is of the ilk of those secular jews who hate guns! This is the same mentality of Marx himself. Look what disarmament does to people’s of a nation in which this occurs. One would think that all Jews would welcome firearms ownership. The hitch is that many of them are lulled into believing marxism is a good thing?! I would like her to be one of those who sneakily tries to come into my home to take away my arms! 00buck would not do her justice! She is a major… Read more »

We all need to remember the reason for Paul Revere’s ride: ” The British are coming to take your guns”,
Someone said, tongue in cheek one benefit of Sharia would be the end of “The View”.

She’s just another anti-gun buffoon who doesn’t think what could happen with stupid comments like that! You allow them to continue to abuse the 2nd Amendment, the 1st amendment would be next to fall. Would she be OK if a politician did that with our 1st Amendment protected speech after the election? We can only wonder what she’d say if they marched in and shut her mike off and hauled her away to the work camps… Oh wait a second, too late to do anything at that point Joy!!! “They should not tell everything they’re going to do. Like if… Read more »

Let this be a lesson in reality when it comes to “wishful thinking.” For years I’ve wished that Joy Behar would just go away, but still, there she is. In fact, she’s multiplied.

WE OVER ANALYZE THESE PEOPLE. She is just a big mouth overbearing super liberal Democrat. Nothing more. She knows the facts (they all do across the media) but what they say is their goal. Facts do not count, it is their goal, It really is just that simple. Very dangerous people.

I am not a watcher of “The View” but have on occasion when a guest appeared in whom I have
some interest watched…in shock. It is incomprehensible to me how this babbling pack of
harridans were given a television show. Their lack of knowledge about practically anything
is astonishing. Their combined I.Q. would seem to measure up to room temperature in an
igloo.

Oh, the genius of Heinlein. Any thinking America should read his works. He was a man who UNDERSTANDS what is reality! Three of my favorite quotes : When any government, or any church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know, the end result is tyranny and oppression no matter how holy the motives. Robert A. Heinlein An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life. Robert A. Heinlein I… Read more »

Emotional legislation intent is to steal power reserved to the people,

NFA stole power from the people

Brady Act stole power from the people

Patriot Act stole power from the people

The very government that fails at every level steals more power daily to fail at every level.

The first 13 words of the 2nd amendment which may very well be the most important 13 words in the whole Constitution were stolen in 1903 with the passage of the “Dick” act. It is the ONLY place in the Constitution where the word NECESSARY is used.Oh and the control of our monetary system was stolen from the people in 1913 with the passage of the “Federal Reserve” act.

@John, It is more like armed robbery than mere theft because it is done at the point of a gun.

Its not ignorance its to brainwash the low information people who understand nothing about America or the Constitution! Most people like 95% think we live in a democracy…mob rules!

We are less than 1 generation away from tyranny unless we convince our gov they better course correct fast!

It is the result of the 10th plank of the Communist manifesto government school system. Do you seriously expect the government to teach children how to control the government? Did you EVER learn about Jury Nullification when you were attending a government school? And the last 20 years the majority of the government schools graduate brain dead lemmings that suck up socialism as a panacea to the worlds ills.

So – not much on that list that we don’t have now. Well – all except the last paragraph under “Avoiding Tyranny”.
Biggly sad.
Matters not which party you are talking about – they both engage in all of this. Almost as though they are one hand washing the other (to misquote Russian proverb).

When the government violates the law, then there is no more law, just a fight for survival. That is where we all are today. And with the loss of the Militias in 1903, where can individuals make a difference without being attacked?

And that ignorance is promulgated by the indoctrination centers that so many American’s send their children too. Quoting the late George Carlin… But there’s a reason. There’s a reason. There’s a reason for this, there’s a reason education SUCKS, and it’s the same reason it will never, ever, EVER be fixed. It’s never going to get any better, don’t look for it, be happy with what you’ve got. Because the owners, the owners of this country don’t want that. I’m talking about the real owners now, the BIG owners! The Wealthy… the REAL owners! The big wealthy business interests that… Read more »

I loved listening to Carlin growing up, but sadly he was a hardcore leftist not much different than those today, and he would be with antifa if he were alive.

Sad to say but very very true.

Towards the end of his life he became consumed with hatred and most of his shows after certain point dripped with hatred rather than humor
