Phoenix, AZ, November 15, 2019 – AR500 Armor®, the leader in high-quality, value-priced body armor for the civilian market and proud member of the Armored Republic®, today announced it has partnered with TMG Target Systems to bring TMG’s patented mechanical reset target system to the broader market.
Through this partnership, AR500 Armor® will use its manufacturing and sales capabilities to offer civilian and professional firearm users a target system they can automatically reset from their firing position.

TMG Target Systems owner, James A. Hoy, Jr., served more than 20 years in the U.S. Navy SEALs and retired in 2013 with the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer. After he retired, he wanted to build his own range but didn’t want to waste time manually resetting targets or installing an expensive pneumatic target system.
“After spending 20 years pulling ropes and working someone else’s range, I wanted a target system that worked how I wanted it to,” Master Chief Hoy said.
“I designed a mechanical reset system you could ‘set and forget’. After shooting the locking targets, you shoot the reset target which mechanically resets the entire system, so you can spend more time shooting and less time walking downrange to reset targets,” he added.
