Injunction Issued Against Massachusetts, Gov. Baker Order Closing Gun Stores

U.S.A.-(Ammoland.com)- United States District Court Judge Douglas P. Woodlock issued an injunction against bans on the operation of firearm and ammunition retailers imposed by Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker and others. The case was brought by individuals seeking to purchase firearms and ammunition, retailers, and advocacy organizations Second Amendment Foundation (SAF), Commonwealth Second Amendment (Comm2A), and Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC). A copy of the lawsuit and order can be found at FPCLegal.org.

“We are elated that Judge Woodlock has ordered an injunction against Governor Baker and others so that law-abiding individuals can once again purchase firearms and ammunition,” said Adam Kraut, FPC’s Director of Legal Strategy. “The citizens of Massachusetts have been deprived of their right to acquire arms for defense of hearth and home for too long during a time where it is most critical.”

“State and local governments cannot suspend the Constitution and its guarantee of fundamental human rights,” FPC President Brandon Combs said. “Individuals have a human right to acquire firearms and ammunition for self-defense, and the need for self-defense is especially important during uncertain times. This important victory means people in the Bay State can exercise their right to keep and bear arms.”

Individual firearm or ammunition purchasers, retailers, and ranges affected by ‘stay-home’ or shutdown orders are encouraged to report their concerns and potential civil rights violations to FPC’s COVID-19 Issue Hotline at www.FPChotline.org.

Don’t forget SAF,and GOA.These three have been the one’s in the trenches for us lately.People who own firearms do not get the fact that THESE groups are the only things between US and a REVOLUTION.
IF SCOTUS doesn’t finally come down with a concrete ruling FOR the BOR’s this term, then it’s over.
It will be WAR.
GOD help us.

Yeah, the NRA used to be the sharp end of the spear, and they stuck it right in our hearts, pulled it out and stuck it in our eyes, pulled it out again and stuck it in our backs and pulled it out and stuck it in our ……. well, you get it, they dont but we do.

Thanks to the LaPierre scandal, THEY SELF destructed(of course Bloomie will declare VICTORY), HE still doesn’t get it.(they will wish the NRA was still top dog, once they see how viscous we get when cornered)
As 2A supporters and Natural Law believers it HAS never been about the NRA,they are/were just a tool in the chest.
