Throwing Support Behind Fateh Shows DFL is Going Full Marxist

“Minnesota’s branch of the Democratic Party endorsed far-left Minnesota State Sen. Omar Fateh’s campaign for mayor of Minneapolis on Saturday,” Fox News reported Sunday. “Fateh announced the endorsement from the Democratic Farmer-Labor (DFL) party on social media. He secured the endorsement over incumbent mayor Jacob Frey, also a Democrat.”

Seeing a citizen disarmament zealot and illegal immigrant suck-up being abandoned by the majority of DFL delegates illustrates how manipulated demographics, the growing political influence of Somali immigrants, and the sanctimonious racial virtue signaling by useful idiot whites is changing the urban balance of political power, and with it, states and ultimately the Republic. Combine that with radicalized Democrat voters embracing coerced redistribution of wealth, and Old Guard “liberals” are increasingly finding they don’t go far enough nor fast enough for Democratic Socialists (but I repeat myself) demanding “Leaders We Deserve,”  like New York’s Zohran Mamdani.

Disregard that none of them seeking to rule over budgets measuring in the billions have the professional experience to profitably manage a hot dog cart, and “Somali-American” Fateh, who’s always fed from the public trough, is no exception. No matter. If you have power, you can take from those who don’t. He says as much in his “Vision for a City That Works for Everyone”:

“It is imperative that we grow Minneapolis’ tax base to reduce the burden the property tax levy has on working families…Lobby the State of Minnesota to allow the City of Minneapolis to institute a local option income tax to ensure the wealthy pay their fair share.”

He and his commissars will decide who is “wealthy” and what their “fair share” is, and who gets the reductions, or as Karl Marx put it:

“From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”

And unsurprisingly, because even though Marx contended, “Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered. Any attempts to disarm the people must be stopped, by force if necessary,” it never seems to work out that way in practice.

That’s because no one’s ever tried communism the “right” way, useful idiots too dense to realize that it doesn’t exist will insist. And that’s because you can’t get to Marx’s theoretical stateless, classless society without first establishing a so-called “dictatorship of the proletariat,” and the obsession of tyrants to rule has universally proven that those corrupted by absolute power don’t give it up unless there’s a credible and personal “or else” involved from those who would rule themselves.

Fateh, of course, means to rule, and that means he intends to disarm those who would rather he didn’t. Among other edicts he plans:

• Universal background checks on all gun sales
• Extreme risk protection orders (ERPOs) also known as “red flag laws”
• A ban on binary triggers

But wait, like the infomercial says, there’s more!

“Democrat Senator Omar Fateh is LEAD co-sponsor of S.F. 1596, which would OUTLAW the sale, transfer, loan, etc. of hundreds of rifles, pistols and shotguns in Minnesota!” Minnesota Gun Rights warns. And he sponsored a bill “prohibiting the sale or transfer of a semiautomatic military-style assault weapon; authorizing a buyback program for semiautomatic military-style assault weapons…”

We know where all the incremental steps, none of which deliver on their hollow promises of reducing violent crime will lead, and we also know that individual self-defense is just a part of the core reason the Founders included the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights. And we can also see founding intent from the Fateh-backing Democratic Socialists of America in their early movement songs they now try to hide from threatening the “bourgeoisie” that “when the revolution comes we’ll kill you all with knives and guns.”

That may explain why they want ours.

The “pathway to citizenship” (which will become a superhighway if Democrat “leadership,” has its way) is a major route to that totalitarian “revolution” DSA is singing about. That the “bourgeoise will include the Old Guard, slated for being purged by the young radicals seems not to have dawned on many of them, although we’ve seen signs that some elites are starting to fear a monster they’ve enabled.

The Preamble to the Constitution provides a purpose for the powers delegated to the three branches of government, culminating in the grand intent “to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and or Posterity.” Any law passed, adjudicated, and enforced that does not advance that duty is a betrayal of the obligation of officials to uphold their oaths.

Those include immigration laws. Ask yourself how importing hordes of Third Worlders and their posterity,  intent on degrading the Founder’s Republic into the same kind of tyrannical hellholes they fled, keeps the promises of the Preamble.

“E Pluribus Unum” was never meant to limit choices and freedom by imposing a hive of homogeneous, obedient, collectivist drones.
