ATK Wins 2009 Cabela Lifetime Business Achievement Award
Orlando –-(AmmoLand.com)- ATK, whose business groups include the nation’s largest ammunition manufacturer, has been chosen as the recipient of the 2009 Cabela Lifetime Business Achievement Award. The presentation was made today during a Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show reception at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Florida.
The award was received by Mark DeYoung, President of ATK Armament Systems and was presented by Tommy Millner, president of American Heritage Arms and Randy Moeller, Marketing Manager for Cabela’s Inc.
The U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance created the award in 2006 to honor the Cabela family’s dedication to protecting outdoor sports, including hunting, fishing, and trapping. It is presented to companies that demonstrate the same passion and commitment to protecting America’s outdoor heritage as the Cabelas.
“This is our way of honoring the Cabela family and other leaders in the outdoor business community for their efforts to defend our rights,” said Bud Pidgeon, U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance president.
