“The 2011 IDPA Indoor Nationals, as has recently been the case, provided a unique test of all around action pistol shooter skill in about a wide a range of technique as I have seen to date,” commented Morgan Allen.

“That being the case, it’s pretty clear why mutual support through training with my teammates and collective strategy during the match played a significant role in our performance. Congrats to all who participated and enjoyed the event, and a special thanks to ITI, Smith & Wesson, IDPA, our other sponsors, and of course the volunteers, including the USCG, who made it all possible!”

Results for the team include:

Shooter Division Class Place Score
Rob Middaugh, Team Captain SSP Expert Third 211.09
Morgan Allen ESP Master Third 184.57
Gary Byerly CDP Master Fourth 198.39
Brandon Wright SSP Master Fifth 176.58

“This was the first match that I have used Atlanta Armsammunition in and I can say that the ammo ran flawlessly. It makes for an easy day when you know that you don’t have to worry about your ammo causing problems,” commented Brandon Wright.

“The Smith & Wesson Indoor Nationals has become a must-stop on the competitive circuit. The combination of great stages and low light conditions make it a complete test of skill,” commented Gary Byerly. “Kudos to Frank Glover and crew for all their hard work. Shooting with my teammates was great as I was able to get their opinions on how to approach each stage. As a group we all bring something to the table skill wise. I look forward to being able to shoot as a group much more this year.”was both the best and the toughest National Championship I have ever shot. Thanks to all the staff.”
