Ft Collins, CO –-(Ammoland.com)- Paris Follow-Up:

BHO’s “statement” about the terrorist attack in Paris was cynically casual, an apparent annoying interruption to his day. He was obviously bored. No mention of Islamics, “radical” nor otherwise. I’m sure it was yet another example of “workplace violence

Anything but inspiring!

Even our Secretary of State had some modicum of passion (albeit contrived) in his voice.

Evidence we have so far indicates a planned, not spontaneous, attack, complete with pre-attack surveillance and, unlike Mumbai and Kenya, there was a (successful) blueprint for disengagement and escape. In fact, video of departing terrorists show them in no particular hurry!

All of this indicates terrorists in France have a significant support-base in the local Moslem community, that they can depend upon to counter efforts of police.

Radical” Islamics are supported enthusiastically by “moderate ” Islamics!

French media is at least calling it “an act of terror,” while our WH Press Secretary calls it “an act of violence.” They just can’t get the “T-word ” to come out of their mouths!

Some responding French “police” were unarmed. As one might expect, they were not much help! To quote my colleague, Dave Grossman,

“Never call an unarmed person, ‘security'”

We also see elitist, liberal, hypocritical newspaper editors, and other media types in this country, suddenly scrambling to get guns for personal protection, along with “special permits,” but only for themselves. Of course, they’ve editorialize endlessly that we peons should never be allowed to keep and bear arms, because our lives are not worth protecting.

However, they apparently think their lives are pretty important. Maybe they even think police are suddenly okay, eh?

They are so disgusting!

The real hero is editor Stephane Charbonnier, known by his pen-name, ” Charb.” He was among the first murdered. In 2102, Le Monde editors advised him to tone-down his cartoons, so as not to “offend” Moslems. He declined, saying,

“I’d rather die on my feet than live on my knees.”

At least some French remember their heritage. Even some Americans do!

The disarming of the civilian population (and most police) in Western Europe, and some parts of the USA, has brought forth a universal loss of personal dignity, and a mental posture of unawareness, helplessness, anxiety, and despair!

“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms …disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than can one who is armed.” ~ Thomas Jefferson (Quoting an esteemed contemporary, Cesare Beccaria, of Italy)

Our Liberal American politicians can’t call Islamic killers, terrorists, but they can call Conservatives, Christians, and Veterans, terrorists.. Why is that? Duh, let me see…

You may very well be right about a lot here. But disarmament of Western Europe? Not that I’ve heard of! Sure, handguns are less common, and we don’t have the same passion for AR15 as you, but we are in no way disarmed. I have a full gun cabinet and I’ve never had problems buying anything I wanted. Hunting is very common, particularly in Scandinavia, but also in Germany, France, Austria not to mention Switzerland. Also, sports shooting is common, both with handguns and rifles. In fact, our laws are more liberal than those in some U.S. states; there’s no… Read more »
