USA – -(Ammoland.com)- A DEA officer stopped at a ranch in Ohio , and talked with a rancher. He told Wilson,“I need to inspect your ranch for illegally grown drugs.” The rancher said, “Okay, but don’t go in that field over there…”

The DEA officer verbally exploded saying, “Mister, I have the authority of the Federal Government with me !”

Reaching into his rear pants pocket, the arrogant officer removed his badge and proudly displayed it to the rancher.

“See this stinking badge?! This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish…On any land! No questions asked or answers given!! Have I made myself clear……do you understand ?!!”

Wilson nodded politely, apologized, and went about his chores.

A short time later, the rancher heard loud screams, looked up, and saw the DEA officer running for his life, being chased by the rancher’s big Santa Gertrudis bull……

With every step the bull was gaining ground on the officer, and it seemed likely that he’d sure enough get gored before he reached safety. The officer was clearly terrified.

The rancher threw down his tools, ran to the fence and yelled at the top of his lungs…..

“Your badge, show him your stinking BADGE!!”

The etn foot pot plant gives them probable cause

kent

Old joke- but If your 10′ pot plant is in PLAIN VIEW it now becomes evidence.

Brian

It’s still a good question, does the DEA or Fish & Game need a warrant to come on your ranch/property to look for drugs?

TODD

Absolutely they do! It’s your property just like your house or anything else you own. This was a joke, however no law officer can go on your land even if he see’s a 10 foot pot plant without a warrant.

doug

that bull only wanted to use his “large badge” on him, maybe like obama, he would have liked it !!!!!!!!!

Tom

The man should have pulled out his copy of the Constitution, and showed him He needs a Warrant along with that Badge of Disgrace..

Serves em right. I hope the dea officer learned his lesson about natural law. Question: Does the dea officer need a warrant to search the ranch/property? I do not see any mention of presenting a warrant to search the property.

It’s a joke, buddy 🙂
