Newtown, CT -(AmmoLand.com)- Orchid Advisors, the firearm industry’s trusted compliance and operations experts, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, announce the third annual Firearms Industry Compliance Conference (FICC), to be held May 2-4 in Atlanta, Georgia.
“We are pleased to have partnered with NSSF for the second year in a row to bring operational compliance expertise to firearm manufacturers, importers, distributors and dealers,” said Jon Rydberg, CEO of Orchid Advisors.
The FICC provides operational compliance and technology information that allows owners and executives to focus on manufacturing and selling product while their businesses remain compliant.
The FICC program is composed of three learning tracks and will include timely and relevant discussions of how the regulatory environment has evolved over the past two years, especially including the 2016 Presidential Actions.

The conference theme will be highly focused on the future-where regulations are headed, how new developments in product research and development affect Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs), and what processes and technologies FFLs are using to significantly improve their business. Additionally, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) will provide focused sessions throughout the conference, offering FFLs an opportunity to interact, ask questions and focus on proactive compliance.

Two pre-conference sessions will be held on May 2, prior to the official conference start, and will provide FFLs with a concentrated training session on firearms industry technology and federal firearm regulations.
