California – -(Ammoland.com)- At California Rifle & Pistol Association we are improving and enhancing CRPA and NRA’s existing grassroots networks, and getting more involved in local campaigns, elections, events, politics, and other local issues.
California Rifle & Pistol Association has made a substantial investment in grassroots coordinating and local messaging technologies, and CRPA is recruiting more grassroots volunteers to help us.
Everyone can help so now is the time and we want you!
Join our effort in your area through the California Rifle & Pistol Association Coalition of Local Gun Owners (CLGO) project. CRPA has been around for over 140 years and has the office and field facilities, operational infrastructure and full time staff to hit the ground running on the CLGO effort, so we can avoid the expensive and time consuming administrative infrastructure building efforts that fledgling movements face. California Rifle & Pistol Association’s tremendous growth and support during this past election cycle has made it possible for CRPA to launch the CLGO project.

California Rifle & Pistol Association and NRA members and like-minded Second Amendment advocates are doing more to push back against pointless and harassing laws and politicians pushing their statist agenda.
The California Rifle & Pistol Association CLGO project seeks individuals, and existing local RKBA groups, clubs, ranges, and FFLs to be a part of the CRPA CLGO partnership in your county. There are many benefits to your involvement including: access through CRPA and NRA to real time legislative information, access to California Rifle & Pistol Association staff to help organize and promote local shooting and non-shooting events and logistics, free access to the CRPA/NRA lawyers who fight for local FFLs and ranges in your area, access to CRPA and NRA’s campaign finance and PAC lawyers for local elections, and lots more!
California Rifle & Pistol Association is looking for a few good men and women to be the voices for the right to keep and bear arms in local communities. The CLGO members and partners in each county will help coordinate their local efforts with the California Rifle & Pistol Association state-wide efforts to make an impact from the smallest local offices all the way to the state capitol.
Together we can turn the tide of harmful laws and anti-Constitution public officials – WE NEED YOU!

About California Rifle & Pistol Association
The California Rifle & Pistol Association (CRPA), founded in 1875, is a nonprofit 501 (c)(4) membership and donor supported organization. CRPA employs staff in Fullerton and Sacramento, works with hundreds of volunteers across the state, and is controlled by an independent Board of Directors. Some of CRPA’s non-profit efforts are funded through CRPA’s sister organization, the CRPA Foundation (CRPAF). CRPAF is a 501(c)(3) organization, so contributions to the CRPAF are tax deductible.
All dues and donations to CRPA and CRPAF are spent to specifically benefit California gun owners. CRPA works relentlessly in California to defend your constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Your CRPA membership dues and donations help CRPA to fight for your right to choose to responsibly own and use firearms for hunting, sport, or to defend yourself and your family.
CRPA has tens of thousands of members who represent a diverse cross-section of the general public. CRPA members include civil rights activists, competitive and recreational shooters, hunters, youth, women, police, firearm experts and trainers, and loving parents.
CRPA is proud to be the official state association of the National Rifle Association (NRA). CRPA works with the NRA as a team in California. CRPA and NRA complement and enhance each other’s ongoing efforts to fight for your rights in Sacramento, in cities and counties across the state, in regulatory agencieas, and in the courts. By working together, CRPA and NRA multiply their effectiveness, accomplishing more by working together on your behalf than either could accomplish working alone or separately in California.
