Gov. Murphy Attacks What Little there is of Right to Carry in New Jersey ~VIDEO

New Jersey – -(Ammoland.com)- At a recent “gun safety” announcement, Governor Murphy, Senate President Stephen Sweeney, and Attorney General Gurbir Grewal launched a full scale attack on the right of law-abiding citizens to defend themselves with a firearm outside the home, otherwise known as right to carry.

Murphy announced an intention to reverse Governor Christie’s executive order allowing those facing serious threats to qualify for a handgun carry permit, and to challenge any federal action on right to carry reciprocity.

Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs Executive Director Scott Bach slammed the move.

“The U.S. Supreme Court has repeatedly held that police have no duty to protect individual citizens, which means you’re on your own in an emergency. It is an outrage that the same government that abandons its duty to keep us safe is also working to prevent us from protecting ourselves. Governor Murphy will have the blood of more innocents like Carol Bowne on his hands.”

Bach continued, “New Jersey is going to have to be dragged, kicking and screaming, into legal recognition of the right to defend yourself outside the home. Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs is more than happy to oblige and will be at the forefront of the movement to restore this fundamental right.”

No matter how many gun control bills this sorry excuse for a Governor signs,
violence will continue to rise because the criminal element ignores the laws.

@Aardvark I read your comment about YOUTube taking the comments down for this subject. Maybe you caused it because you said something about defending the 2A. Youtube is a leftist paradise like twitter has become. You know, keep the information away from the people so they can dumb everyone down. All we can hope for is that the Gov of NJ finds himself suddenly in a position where he realizes that at that precise second he desperately needs a gun and he does not have one on his person or he is without his hired guns

Looking at the AG, I’ll bet he has a couple hundred million of his former countrymen who are getting ready to invade us now, and he is doing his best to get us all disarmed first. And as for the governor, he is most likely thinking about the $2000 per head he will get for every new invader. He has big plans for his bank account, no doubt. He can certainly go onto the TRAITOR list. As for the poor woman whose son was killed, probably done by MS13 criminals joyriding thru her neighborhood with a snootful of coke.

There is no doubt all three of them have armed guards for protection against honest citizens. The criminals wouldn’t bother to attack them because the criminals need more than pocket change to keep business going. Honest citizens pay for their misuse of tax money.

Let’s face it: Christie was elected only because the voters couldn’t tell him from a real Democrat. The people of NJ can’t see anything wrong with being defenseless. They LIKE the way things are. Ok, I should have been more clear on my post. Yes, the quote is from the Declaration of Independence, but makes clear the founders intent. The Constitution was written with these principals in mind, and became the Supreme Law of the Land. It is the Constitution that this governor is violating.

How can you RESTORE a right? Either the right exists or it doesn’t. I say it exists.
