Fairfax, VA – -(Ammoland.com)- A college lacrosse player at a Florida university was told by his coach in June that he had to choose between the team or posting his hunting and firearm pictures online.
“You want to play lacrosse for PBA [Palm Beach Atlantic University], you won’t post pics of your guns and stuff. That’s simple. You want to continue to post this – you don’t play,” the coach texted the student on June 27.
The pictures depicted law-abiding, non-threatening behavior. In one example, the student is smiling after a successful duck hunt. In another example, he is holding a holstered firearm.
The student responded to his coach saying he did nothing wrong and that if he had to choose between lacrosse and his constitutional freedoms, he’d choose his freedoms.
The university responded formally to the student’s complaint and said the student’s pictures did not violate school policy and that they had spoken to the coach about the issue.
This is yet another example of an anti-gun authority figure feeling emboldened to attack a student for his pro-Second Amendment beliefs. The men and women of the NRA are sick of hearing stories like these.

Hank, I think you are exactly right. The student’s name is Zach Scholl he played lacross for this school for 3 seasons before they brought in the new liberal from NY. You should look at his Instagram page – this looks to me like an outstanding young man. Thanks for those email addresses, Jon. As I explained to the “coach” and to Ms Stone, as an educator for 30 years, I find his behavior disgusting. He scorns both the first and second amendments and has no place in any educational institution.

WHY THE IS THE COACH’S NAME OMITTED FROM THE STORY?!?! There is NO valid reason to preserve the anonymity of people like that – exposing them to the clear light of day should be a given. Remember, sunlight is the best disinfectant!

I lived down in South Florida (Palm Beach County) for 8 1/2 years. Generally speaking, the further south you go in the state the more that you find the socialist anti-gunners. By the time you get to Fort Lauderdale and Miami it’s like you living, gun wise, in New York City or Washington D.C. with palm trees.
This is the type of people we entrust to educate our children, often at the expense of our tax dollars. We have been asleep at the wheel as this infection of liberalism has ruined our centers of education.

OK. I guess I was kind of vague . When I said northeast, I meant NY NJ CN MASS RI DC and MA. I tooove. En at cyclist fo over 50 years and used to ride an 48 FLHS Shovel. Ride a Triumph Bonny now. Dude, you are an idiot. I’m from Illinois originally and outside of Chicago, most of the state is pro-gun. At this time, around 20 counties have declared themselves gun sanctuary zones.
In Minnesota, we have the Winter weather to discourage the influx of rabid liberalism, but the do congregate down in the twin cities. Seven of 87 counties swung the state to democrat. Wish we could fence that area off and ignore it.
