Atlanta, GA —-(Ammoland.com)- Episodes one, two, and three of “USA Shooting Presented by 4Outdoors” are now streaming on GetZone.com. In this new, multi-part series, show host Brett Favre talks with Olympic and Paralympic athletes about their struggles, victories, and the importance of raising awareness and funds for USA Shooting’s athletes.
Episode 1 – In the premiere episode of “USA Shooting Presented by 4Outdoors,” Favre shoots sporting clays and talks with two-time Olympic bronze medalist Corey Cogdell-Unrein where he learns, “A lot of people don’t know shooting is one of the most expensive Olympic Sports. People think that we’re funded by the government, and that’s just not the case,” Cogdell says. “I’ve watched so many of my teammates struggle, and scratch, and fight to pay just their training expenses, and go in debt financially to pursue this sport. I’ve thought, how good could we be if we had the funding that we needed? It’s such a great sport, and we just need your help,” she said.
Episode 2 – The second episode features Marco De La Rosa, who details his journey from U.S. Marine to competing for the United States as a Paralympian shooter: “I traveled everywhere to find myself…then I found this…I found shooting,” said De La Rosa. “I didn’t get into this for myself. I’m representing the Corps, and the Army guys, and everybody at the VA. When I go back and they see that I’ve achieved something, it pushes them. That’s what I’m about, I represent America,” he added.
Episode 3 – The third episode of “USA Shooting Presented by 4Outdoors,” takes viewers back out onto the range as Brett Favre interviews Paralympian pistol shooter, McKenna Dahl. “Shooting gives me a purpose and a passion for life that, you know, I don’t think I ever would have found if it weren’t for the sport. I’m really thankful that I get to be here, and I get to get up every day and achieve my dreams,” said Dahl.
Throughout each episode, Favre and the featured athletes conduct shooting drills and share tips and tactics on the range. Every episode highlights a sponsor’s products featuring pistols, shotguns, rifles, and others. The theme is to encourage viewers to donate to USA Shooting in an effort to help American shooting athletes win gold. McMillan Firearms stepped up as one of the first major sponsors for the series, and will be featured in an upcoming episode of “USA Shooting Presented by 4Outdoors.”
According to Favre, “Raising awareness for our Olympic and Paralympic athletes and their individual journeys is an important component of our mission at 4Outdoors. In addition to helping at-risk youth, Veterans, people with disabilities, victims of natural disasters, and people who are simply dealing with difficult issues life has thrown at them, “we’re glad to help our fans appreciate what organizations like USA Shooting provide to the shooting sports community and to the athletes that represent us in competition,” he said.
“The 4Outdoors program is all about encouraging outdoor-related sports and activities, and fostering our next generation,” Favre said. “We believe getting people outside helps them grow, which is why we have committed ourselves to fostering connections in, with, and around the great outdoors.”

When we think Brett Favre, we think football. After all, the field was his home for nearly two decades. But when Brett Favre thinks about where he belongs, he thinks about being outside. These days, he enjoys the outdoors by riding his bike, hunting, and fishing (just to name a few). But Favre has been an outdoorsman since he was a youngster. “When my Dad wasn’t coaching me in football or baseball, growing up I was always outside,” Favre said. “Hunting, fishing, just walking through the woods – you name it. I wanted to be outside.” Throughout his life, Favre has considered nature his anchor and has always returned to his favorite outdoor activities when times get tough. “I got to thinking, everyone needs to be able to be in the outdoors with the people they love, and so 4Outdoors was born,” said Favre. With the help of some of the outdoor industry’s brightest, most committed minds, Favre set out to use his nationwide influence for good. “If I can share what I love with just one person who otherwise may not have gotten outside, then I’ve done my job well,” he said. Whether Favre and the 4Outdoors team are helping get rescue dogs to Veterans, organizing a skeet shoot for overworked law enforcement officers, or coordinating a fishing tournament for children with special needs, 4Outdoors has one simple goal: to get people out there. “When you’re outside, you’re outside, you’re out in the nitty gritty, things matter more outside.
