Wyoming – -(AmmoLand.com)- Mary Throne is desperate.
It’s no surprise; after all, she is a hardened anti-gun politician who is trying to become the Governor of Wyoming — one of the most pro-gun states in the country.
To do that, Mary Throne is going all out in her effort to twist the facts about her record as a former state lawmaker.
Recently, in an interview with KODI and KZMQ, Throne did her best to totally reinvent herself as a stalwart supporter of the Second Amendment.
Like every gun grabber in the country, Throne began by professing her support of hunting — just like former Vice President Biden used to do — as if the Second Amendment was written to ensure our right to hunt.
Of course, you and I know that it was about the right of the people to remain armed to deal with criminals and tyrants.
But sensing that that wasn’t enough for gun owners, Throne dispensed with the truth and began to flat out lie by claiming, “I’ve never supported any kind of gun control.” Technically, you see, Throne is correct. There have not been gun control bills on the floor of the legislature for her to vote for.
But Mary Throne voted AGAINST YOUR GUN RIGHTS every chance she had during her years in Cheyenne, making her a long-time opponent of the right to keep and bear arms.
- Mary Throne voted against silencer legislation on February 13, 2013.
- Mary Throne voted against Constitutional Carry on February 25, 2011.
- Mary Throne voted against the Firearms Freedom Act on March 3, 2010.
- Mary Throne voted against the bill to allow employees to secure their firearms in their car while at work, on February 9, 2011.
I can go on and on, as Mary Throne’s war against gun owners spans almost a decade.
For Mary Throne to now claim that she’s never supported any kind of gun control is a flat out lie, and it’s insulting to every gun owner — and every voter — in Wyoming.
On the other hand, Mark Gordon has been very upfront about his support of the Second Amendment, when he signed the Wyoming Gun Owners candidate survey.
To be clear, Mark Gordon has publicly stated that he would oppose legislation like:
- Red Flag Gun Seizures; which would allow you to lose your gun rights based on secret court proceedings and without even being charged with a crime.
- Universal Background Checks; which would make it a crime to transfer any firearms (even amongst family members) without going through a government check first!
- Veterans Disarmament Act; which would disarm every American citizen under the age of 21, including those who have served in the military with distinction!
But more than what he would oppose, is the legislation that Mark Gordon has promised to sign.
As you all know, WYGO is determined to end deadly ‘Gun Free Zones’ in Wyoming, an effort that was stalled in 2017 when Governor Mead vetoed our bill.
But Mark Gordon has promised, in writing, to sign this bill into law.

Now that you have the facts, please help Wyoming Gun Owners get this message out to as many gun owners as possible between now and November 6th, 2018..
Wyoming was a bright spot in 2018 in the fight for gun rights, passing Stand-Your-Ground law while many ‘red states’ were advancing gun control. But we can’t let up now!
And with virtually everyone talking about a blue wave coming on election day, we can’t take anything for granted, either. Whatever you do, please make sure that you forward this article to more gun owners, so that they are not confused by Throne’s lies!

Mary Throne is rated “D” by the NRA. Her voting record is clearly against our cherished firearm rights. NOT RIGHT FOR WYOMING. And the fact hat she went on air and in all forms of the media lying about her record. Silencers have NOTHING to do with “fair chase” – in fact when you go to Africa and hunt, nearly ALL rifles are suppressed. There is STILL NOISE that will spook game. Period. Nice try Jordan, but your “facts” are weak. Mark Gordon (pro-gun) will TROUNCE this lady in three days. No contest at all.
I have a hard time believing anybody voting for the right to conceal carry without a permit is a gun grabber. She did vote for that. Again, in Wyoming you can concealed carry without a permit, and she voted yes. Her vote against silencer legislation was because silencers were being proposed as legal for hunting, which is not fair chase. Her vote against guns in schools was because she wanted local school districts to decide what was right for them not have Cheyenne shoving things down their throat. and her vote against the other two were because they were bolierplate… Read more »

I read that commiefornians have been selling their houses and moving to red states because they can buy a house cheaper and the cost of living is much less. It appears they take their commie attitudes with them and try to screw up where they moved to just like what they moved away from.
Yup,do the same when they move to Vermont. Next thing they want is sidewalks,curbs and street lights in a rural state,it wasn’t that long ago we had more cows than people. The people moving here are from Marxist slave states,they assume that Vermonters are ignorant Effing woodchucks,that need to see the light of their Regressive Utopia with unicorns jumping rainbows,if only we would let them turn Vermont into a shithole like they came here from.
Voters, you have been warned. Do not vote for this woman. Get out and vote!
Is this woman born & bred in Wyoming or a transplant from a liberal/progressive/communist state like CA? Might help to know this before elections.
