U.S.A.-(Ammoland.com)- Diamondback Firearms, creator of high-quality firearms and industry-leading components, is proud to introduce their latest product, the DBX 5.7.

The DBX 5.7 is a one-of-a-kind semi-auto pistol chambered in 5.7x28mm with an 8″ barrel. It has a standard AR-15 mil-spec trigger and a Magpul MOE-K grip. It’s composed of a hard coat anodized 7075 aluminum frame and a 6061 aluminum handguard. It includes a DBX muzzle device, a Magpul Handstop kit and a 20-round magazine. The DBX 5.7 also comes equipped with a rear picatinny mounted, side-folding brace. With the brace, it has an overall length of 25.4″ versus a 16.1″ length without the brace. It has a slim profile of just 1.25″ and weighs 3 lbs unloaded without the brace.

Diamondback unveiled this highly anticipated new product at Range Day for SHOT Show 2020 in Las Vegas, NV where media attendees were able to handle and test the product at a live-fire range in the desert. With overwhelmingly positive feedback, Diamondback is excited to launch the DBX 5.7 which will begin shipping on May 7, 2020.

“Diamondback Firearms has worked hard to offer not only a new and different product, but something truly innovative for shooters to enjoy,” says Kaley Cox, Marketing Director for Diamondback America. “We are very excited to bring our customers the DBX 5.7 and introduce them to something beyond the traditional pistol or carbine on the market.”

I was liking the idea of the CMMG Banshee in 5.7mm but, this seems like a better set up. No buffer tube sticking out the back. It looks like it can be fitted with the brace folded.

SEMPAI: “another $1100 .22mag”? It’s a PDW caliber. Not a battle rifle.

Saw a bunch of video footage of it. Looks nice, and 3 pounds w/out the brace. $1100. I like it.

Also liking the PSA JAKL, a .300 piston driven truck gun. Looking at $800-900 for that.

And the cost is…?

SWEEET another $1100 .22mag…
