Macron’s Self-Defense Dismissal Says All We Need to Know about Violence Monopolists

Macron toasts a fellow “world leader” who shares in his belief that people don’t have the right to defend themselves. (Emmanuel Macron/Facebook)

U.S.A. – -(Ammoland.com)-French President Emmanuel Macron has condemned the use of deadly force by a farmer who defended himself and his three-year-old daughter with a rifle against four burglars who broke into his home. One of the intruders was killed and the farmer has been indicted for murder, Central Europe’s Remix News reports.

Macron was quick to lay down the law:

“Everyone must be safe, and the public authorities have to ensure it. But I am opposed to self-defense. It’s very clear and undisputable because otherwise the country becomes the Wild West. And I don’t want a country where weapons proliferate and where we consider that it’s up to the citizens to defend themselves.”

In other words, police should be “Les Seules” armed and authorized to use force to stop criminal attacks, even in the home. That and all that matters is what Macron wants. Never mind that “when seconds count” applies everywhere, that France itself is awash in “millions of illegal weapons” and has seen dramatic increases in violent crime.

No worries—in keeping with the “Only Ones” tradition, the police have special exemptions. For themselves. Back le Bleu, n’est-ce pas?

And, of course, the one thing the political left and the media don’t want to talk about is the contributions of “migrants” to the problem, even though it was more than amply illustrated back in 2015 with the Charlie Hebdo slaughter by Islamist terrorists taking full advantage of restrictive French gun laws. At the time, hand-wringers who offered no solutions instead expressed “solidarity” with the victims with the inane “Je suis Charlie” slogan, which I repurposed to suggest an appropriate gun owner sentiment:

Je ne suis pas Charlie. Je suis armé.”

Macron doesn’t have to be Charlie, either. Unlike his subjects, he’s got a detail of tax-funded professional armed bodyguards. Speaking of which, there was a bit of a scandal when one of his “security aides” with a penchant for beating protestors posed for a picture “flaunting” his gun with a waitress, a gun, incidentally, he “was authorized to carry only inside campaign headquarters.”

Think of our own “progressive” political gun-grabbers like Chi-Town’s Lori Lightfoot, who surround themselves with her detail of elite and deadly Sardaukar, all on the taxpayers’ dime. And Macron, deemed a “surreptitious socialist” by The Economist, is nothing if not an entitled leftist.

I don’t try to regularly follow the guy over at my The War on Guns blog, but over the years some of his outrages just couldn’t be ignored:

An assertion on Twitter tells us what he thinks of anyone not on board with his globalist agenda:

“Patriotism is the exact opposite of nationalism. Nationalism is a betrayal of patriotism. By putting our own interests first, with no regard for others, we erase the very thing that a nation holds dearest, and the thing that keeps it alive: its moral values.”

Orwell couldn’t have said it better. If you’re for your country, you’ve been officially deemed a traitor. And we know what violence monopolies do to those.

Now compare that to what he recently posted on Facebook:

“Live free or die, that was the motto of the resistance of the Maquis des Glières. Jean Isaac-Tresca was the last of them. He said no to the occupier, yes to the honor of France. His legacy will live on. Always we will rekindle the flame of resistance.”

It seems an ironic coincidence that a Frenchman was the star of Gaslight.

The left is Anti-liberty NOT anti-gun

“Everyone must be safe”

Even criminals?

“And I don’t want a country where weapons proliferate and where we consider that it’s up to the citizens to defend themselves.”

So, when is he going to publicly disarm his security detail?

CharlieKing1

Exactly…Self-defense for me, but not for thee. Meanwhile, his Parisians are getting slaughtered by knife wielding brigands. C’est la vie!

People of France need to physically remove Macron. Sooner the better for them.

Every single human has the right to physically defend themselves. To deny them that is an act of war on the people, dissolving any fealty they owe to the government in existence.

Henry Bowman

Yes. Make Guillotines Great Again!

swmft

wood chippers work very well

swmft

back in the day there was a 200 hp chum grinder on us 27 out in the everglades next to an alligator pit it was removed in 1996 could not even guess how many drug dealers were chummed thing would grind a cow whole

Henry Bowman

Wood chippers are for Disney Execs, radical marxist pedophile-protecting judges, Pedowood celebs, and everyone even tangentially involved in ‘Frazzledrip’!
(Feet first, so their punishment lasts a wee bit longer!)

Henry Bowman

A pedophile in here just downvoted your comment LOL’ing at ironic justice. I canceled him, but if it’s our favorite troll, expect 12 sockpuppets to hit you soon…

Wild Bill

That pedo down voted you, too, but I fixed it.

incorrigible

It looks like enough of the people have come to their senses to vote him out in the next few weeks! Let’s hope.

Henry Bowman

Presuming of course that Macron isn’t rigging elections there, too. The globalist tyrant elites always get “their man” (or woman) in charge of every country.

john

One lies the other swears to it, The French & Chinese are not our country’s friends both leaders can not be trusted. Now you can add Trudeau to that list of marxist extremist supported by the socialist democratic party of America.

Montana454Casull

It appears idiots round the world need dismissed from thier positions and this includes the United States of America . I could not call any of them leaders as they are all Marxist trash !

Henry Bowman

France’s antigun policy and anti-self-defense politicians ALONE are the exact reason why the USA should NEVER AGAIN save France from another invader or another war!!

Personally – and this is JUST MY OPINION (so don’t infringe on my 1A and ban me, Ammoland!) – The people of France need another revolution, drag out every antigun politician in the country and GUILLOTINE THEM ALL!

Wild Bill

Prepare yourself to participate.

Henry Bowman

President Bolsonaro of Brazil proposed a global alliance of nationalists to defeat the NWO, and has already had takers. Now that President Orban of Hungary is re-elected, I pray he joins. Also, he is extending the international arrest warrant he issued on George “Satan’s Spokesman” Soros. Personally, I hope the Mossad beats him to it and assassinate the POS, on US soil if need be! (Why do you think Soros lives in NY state and never leaves the USA?)

Henry Bowman

I believe the reason why ammo is still hard to get is that 2 years later people are not letting up on their bulk purchases, because like me they’re preparing for civil war nationwide. I’m also working on building food preps, additional water filtration devices, and I already have a mobile command post with multiple radios/masts etc., ready for the militia. My whole life has been a preparation to actually put all that government-supplied officer training for citizen militia. I’m no George Washington, but until I’m KIA or relieved by someone with more training/experience/etc., I’ll carry on.

Tank

Yes this is the real deal visceral concern of issues sub rosa beneath the orchestrated chaos for sure. Global consciousness is rising but it’s also all over the spectrum as well for sure.

the NWO will stop wherever the locals they wish to subdue decline the offer. With lead if necessary. And plenty of blood.. hopefully, that of the NWO lot by a large margin.

Mac

What more could one expect from a narcissistic Socialist. Not ok to defend yourself and family from animals disguised as people? Just unimaginably callous towards the innocent farmer and his family.

DonP

But you can be sure that Macron’s security detail is using lethal force to defend him! That shouldn’t be allowed if it isn’t allowed for everyone else.

Tank

It’s one big club & WE aren’t in it.

Ahhhhhh…. from the mouth of idiots.
This pillow-biting, pantaloon-wearing, poofter, would be dragged screaming for merci & crying (to the guillotine), by the farmer’s family, if it were not for his teams of body guards.
As John Cleese once shouted from a castle wall to the Marquis de la Macron: ” I FAA-RRT in your general direction!!

Wass

As far as I am concerned, France’s great contributions to civilization are, The Metric System. pasteurization, the bidet and the guillotine. And that’s about it, Oh, and perhaps some beautiful and stylish women.

swmft

frances biggest contribution to the world is the white flag

Tank

Lmao – good one

Tionico

they also brought us the Renault cars and “trucks”. They are so badly engineered and built I refused to work on them any more. Everything else on the planet, bring it round, I’ll fix it. Not Renault. Done.

hoss

The BOY is a coward.
Once again the French are surrendering.

Wild Bill

Ya know why the French line their streets with trees?
Because Germans don’t like to march in the sun!!

gregs

the french national motto is “we surrender”.

TGP389

Thankfully, the farmer didn’t surrender. Hopefully, he’ll get a jury trial from other rural people.

France surrendered it’s sovereignty & freedom to the ruling UK monarchy long ago. 12th Century Kingdom of England still held Normandy & Louvre Fortress/Palace was constructed by King Phillip ll. What ever made France so great as a comparative metric as a World metric of Freedom to begin with ? It’s an illusion – mirage of nonsense. Napoleon ? lol Been there several times & completely unimpressed. Visited the Louvre (Wolf Hunting Den – Lupus), Champs-Elysees, Paris, Nice & indulged in enough Art, Wine & Cheese & it’s Mon Cheri’s Femme’s & witnessed Korbantic Frenchman in deep cogitation thought gesticulating… Read more »

The “Religion of Peace” is flocking to France by the millions, and will keep doing so until they make it worse than where they come from.

Russn8r

Yep.

gregs

correction, it is the religion of pieces, if you don’t surrender, they will cut you into pieces.

Tank

Exactly ! It’s a EU Shit hole still run by UK Kingdom (Roman Empire never ended) that’s an illusion destination of colorfully crafted adjectives & adverbs with a pussified twistory that’s pastiched together to make it sound great. Phony people “Oh I had the best patois Foie gras (which is made by “gavage” aka force feeding Geese & Ducks by hand to fatten them up before eating their liver) & escargot @ the French Riviera in Nice” … Males me want to hurl. The only appeal France holds for me is the WW2. historical sites.

PrivateCitizen

And Wild West gun toting Americans had to bail out those pansies after they surrendered a few years earlier. The french “men” have always depended on others to cover for their cowardice. Glad to see there are some french men with balls….few, but at least one. And a country of hairy women who must mask their offensive body odor with massive amounts of perfume.

Tionico

It is only wonderful if it is all you’ve ever known.

I will have a firsthand report in about a week, as my good friend and his newly sixteen year old daughter are touring in France right now. Back after “le fin de semain”.

StLPro2A

Well, the French leaders always were the epitome of Snowflake Karens.

Tionico

quote: “Everyone must be safe, and the public authorities have to ensure it.”

Newflash, M Macron: everyone in your foul country is NOT safe, And the authorities most assuredly do NOT ensure it.
Start there, if you are gonna insist the peons remain disarmed and vulnerable. Sooner or later, they will awaken, and just as when the emperors of old either died or were “removed”, their staff were almost always completely removed, most often by means of the sword, never again to perform any government function (or any other function, for that matter, beyond filling empty coffins). Macron ets fou.
