Glendale, AZ –-(AmmoLand.com)- The Arizona Citizens Defense League (AzCDL) is pleased to announce the formation of the AzCDL Political Action Committee (PAC).

In keeping with our focus on Arizona legislation, the PAC is limited to supporting (or opposing) candidates for the Arizona legislature or other statewide offices (e.g., Governor).

Arizona law prohibits the use of PAC monies to support/oppose candidates for Federal offices or any local (county, city, town, etc.) elections. You can learn more at the AzCDL PAC website: http://www.azcdlpac.com/index.html .

With our PAC, AzCDL's impact on legislation is strengthened by the added ability to support candidates whose positions are aligned with AzCDL's goals, while actively opposing anti-rights candidates. We urge everyone to support our PAC. All donations are welcome! http://www.azcdlpac.com/contribute.html .

You can also make donations to AzCDL PAC at AzCDL's gun show tables and at our Annual Meeting on October 3,2009 in Tucson: http://www.azcdl.org/html/annual_mtg.html .

These alerts are a project of the Arizona Citizens Defense League (AzCDL), an all volunteer, non-profit, non-partisan grassroots organization. Join today! http://www.azcdl.org/html/join_us_.html

About:
AzCDL believes that the emphasis of gun laws should be on criminal misuse and that law-abiding citizens should be able to own and carry firearms unaffected by unnecessary laws or regulations. AzCDL was founded by a group of local activists who recognized that a sustained, coordinated, statewide effort was critical to protecting and expanding the rights of law-abiding gun owners. As a like-minded coalition of activists, the AzCDL founders were instrumental in the successful passage of the first major improvement to Arizona’s CCW (concealed carry) laws since they were instituted in 1994.
