Gun Bloggers Rendezvous IV Raises $8,243.40 For Project Valour-IT
Reno, NV –-(AmmoLand.com)- In support of Soldiers’ Angels and their Project Valour-IT fund, the fourth annual Gun Bloggers Rendezvous is proud to announce that they raised a total of $8,243.40 for the fund. The funds were raised through a combination of four sources:
- * An online raffle ticket sales hosted by Lucky Gunner Ammo
- * Registration fees for the Rendezvous
- * Private donations, primarily from the National Shooting Sports Foundation
- * Raffle tickets sold at the door of the Rendezvous
The prizes that were available for those who purchased online raffle tickets were a 1911 Para GI Expert and a 4 day Front Sight Academy training certificate, valued at $2,000. The raffle was held on Saturday night and the following winners were announced:
- * Sean Brzozowzski of Minnesota was the winner of the 1911 Para GI Expert
- * Scott Warren of Mississippi was the winner of the 4 day Front Sight Academy training certificate
The Gun Bloggers Rendezvous is extremely proud to support the work of Project Valour-IT, which donates new laptops equipped with voice recognition software to injured military personnel so that they can communicate with their fellow soldiers and families. The $8,243.20 raised will be used to purchase over 20 new laptops for these injured servicemen.
