Secure Firearm Products Shooting Team Member Mark Itzstein Captures 2nd at ICORE Cup
Carl Junction, Mo. –-(AmmoLand.com)- Secure Firearm Products shooting team member Mark Itzstein captured 2nd Place in Open Revolver at the Third Annual ICORE Cup, held Oct. 9-11 in Byram, Missisippi this past weekend.
Itzstein posted a total time score of 141.44 behind Jerry Miculek’s score of 123.81. Last year, Itzstein won 1st Place Open Revolver and Overall 1st Place Winner at the ICORE Cup, hosted by the Mississippi Revolver Association.
Itzstein started shooting in 1999 and quickly established his presence in the shooting world. A native Australian, he joined the Secure Firearm Products Shooting Team in 2007, a year after relocating to the United States.
Victories to his credit include winning multiple Asia Pacific Masters Games medals as well as becoming a two-time winner of Australian International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts (ICORE) Nationals. In addition, Itzstein’s impressive career has included regularly placing in the top at the International Revolver Championships, winning multiple ICORE regional and state title matches in the U.S. and Australia and earning numerous top three finishes at the Steel Challenge in Open Revolver.
ICORE promotes action competition shooting with revolvers and combines elements of the Bianchi Cup, IPSC and the Steel Challenge into demanding competition exclusively for revolvers.
