ACCOKEEK, MD –-(AmmoLand.com)- Stoeger Industries introduces a new configuration of the X5—the model anchoring Stoeger’s X-Series of air rifles. Introduced with a hardwood Monte Carlo-style stock, the X5 is now also available with a lightweight, matte black synthetic Monte Carlo-style stock. Impervious to harsh weather conditions, this synthetic stock will leave shooters with few worries when venturing afield. Both versions of the X5 stock are fitted with non-slip rubber butt-pads.

The X5 sports a red fiber-optic front sight and fully adjustable rear sight with green fiber-optic inserts for maximum visibility. For shooters looking to reach out with their air rifle, a combo package includes a factory-mounted 4x32mm scope. The X5 features an ambidextrous automatic safety, conveniently located at the rear of the receiver that eliminates the need to place your finger near the trigger to operate the safety.

Stoeger’s high-velocity, single-shot air rifles are chambered for .177-caliber pellets and are powered by a fast and convenient break-action, spring-and-piston mechanism. The rifle is charged and ready to shoot with a single stroke of the muzzle-mounted ergonomic cocking handle. Stoeger X-Series air rifles have two-stage triggers and shoot both alloy and hard-hitting lead pellets. In the X5, alloy pellets achieve a velocity of around 800 feet-per-second (fps).
