Giving Thanks ~

Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving
Second Amendment Patriots

Indiana –-( Margie and I want to wish all of you a blessed Thanksgiving. This would be a great time to cancel out all the rattling and bantering news stories destined to ruin your day and focus instead on your family and friends.

In spite of how bad we’re told America is, I don’t see it that way. I’m proud I’m an American and this country has been pretty darn good to me and my family. I remember back in September 1969 landing in Vietnam in the dark and rain and smell. It took me all of 12 seconds to realize how my American homeland was.

We have an animal farm of whiners and cry babies throwing stories at us everyday how terrible Americans and America are. I don’t believe them and if they’re waiting on Margie and me to crawl and apologize for being proud Americans, they’re in for one long wait.

I like my flag and what it stands for. I’m thankful for all my fellow veterans from the Revolutionary war on through the Alamo, Civil War, World Wars and the entire list of wars and battles that brave Americans carried that flag. I’m thankful for God and the blessings He has bestowed on America and though we have an abnormal population of bellyachers, I’m not going to let them convince me I need to give up my religion, freedom, liberty and American pride. And if that turns some liberal’s world upside down, then I’m thankful for that, too.

We’ll see you on Saturday the 29th 2014 at the 2nd Amendment Patriots meeting. We appreciate those of you who replied to let us know you’re coming so we can plan on the food. If you haven’t replied yet please do.

I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives. I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him. ~ Abraham Lincoln

God Bless,

Jim and Margie

The Second Amendment Patriots are a local group of Indiana citizens dedicated to preserving the rights, freedoms, and civil liberties of every American by educating the American public of the founding and history of this country and its founding fathers by explaining the role, functions and purpose of the U.S. Government; and by teaching the need and importance of an armed American public, in order to allow for a more prosperous and respectful country consisting of American citizens with a pledge of allegiance to their country and who will at the same time, voice their demand to take back the present overwhelming power of the U.S. Government and deliver it into the hands of the people to which it belongs.
