Fremont, NE -(Ammoland.com)- As a result of the increased popularity of the CanCooker, CanCooker, Jr. and Seth McGinn’s Plank and Multi-Fuel products, the Company is pleased to announce that it has broken ground on a new building, which will nearly double its existing size.
The new 10,000-square-foot facility being built adjacent to the current facility will be utilized as a warehouse and shipping facility and will add additional office space.
CanCooker began operations in 2009 with just two employees, the company owner Seth McGinn and his wife, Sonja. They had one product, the Original CanCooker, which was sold out of their garage. Just five years later the company, still located in Fremont, will now have 27,000 square-feet of working space with a continually expanding employee base. The company has a current line up of nearly 20 products.
“This expansion has been long overdue,” said Seth McGinn, president and owner. “We are very excited about the new facility and the opportunity it brings to all of us at CanCooker.”
McGinn continued, “The City Council and Mayor of Fremont have been extremely supportive of CanCooker and our growth. They understand the importance of the company staying in Fremont and the amount of ancillary business that comes from our company.
